COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This unique stout combines the flavor of roasted malts and Milwaukee’s reknown FUEL CAFE coffee. The fine balance of mild hops, the gentle acidity of choice cofee and the sweetness of the barley makes this an unforgettable brew.

Not my favorite coffee stout. Pours dark brown with a thin, tan head. Light coffee aroma. Thin on the palate. Somewhat watery. Not impressed.

355ml brown bottle. Deep dark brown pour, near black, showing some ruby edging. Nice fat, creamy beige head. Leaves decent lace. Soft nose featuring sweet chocolate, brown sugar and light coffee. Flavour has initial sweetness of semi sweet chocolate and maybe a little raisin (rasinettes?). Roasted finish with some coffee, dry. Aftertaste has roasted malt and coffee with sugar. Light body, thin texture, not much carbonation. A little disappointing, but still drinkable, maybe my expectations were high since I usually love coffee stouts. Glad this came in a taster pack instead of me having to buy the 6 pack that was out because I probably will not revisit.

Pours near pitch black. Aroma is of some funky malts, yeast, barley, and some lactic. Flavor is of malts, burnt coffee, grain, sludge, and metal. Leaves an unpleasant burnt coffee malt finish. 1st and last for this one.

12oz bottle. Pitch-black color with minimal brown head leaving some spots of lace. Very distinctly coffee aroma. Creamy mouthfeel, carbonation has a sharp and quick peak, but it’s not too strong. Crisp enough. Very drinkable, light body. Single crooked ring of lace appears halfway through. Nice.

Has a very scrumptious aroma that smells like an iced latte (it looks like one too). The taste reminds me of a burning campfire. A little roasty, and a little sweet like burning cedar at the end. The flavor is surprisingly subtle and watery for a stout. It’s not at all creamy and doesn’t make an attempt to announce its flavor. It’s a very drinkable beer in all respects but doesn’t start a revolution.

Pours a black color with a caramel colored head. Has an aroma of vanilla, coffee, and caramel. Sweet silky taste with coffee, vanilla, and caramel notes and a very subtle hop layer. Tasty.

Bottle from Total Wine. Pours black with a thin khaki head. Mouthfeel is slightly silky. Big coffee on the nose. The coffee is there on the tongue as well but it fades as the beer warms. Once you get past the coffee there’s not much there.

Not a fan of this one. I don’t enjoy the taste and was not a fan of the after taste.
