Commercial Description:
This unique stout combines the flavor of roasted malts and Milwaukee's reknown FUEL CAFE coffee. The fine balance of mild hops, the gentle acidity of choice cofee and the sweetness of the barley makes this an unforgettable brew.

Enjoyed from a bottle. Aroma isn’t much of anything; one can smell a stoutish brew but not even clearly coffee... kind of smells rank. Nice blend after a few sips to accustom (is that a word?) your palate to the blend. Not a coffee drinker... relatively bitter in another, non hop way. Less than average.

bottle from total wine & more Tampa: black with a slight hint of amber color. Tan medium head. Strong coffee flavor, but not very complex. metallic aftertaste -- a little off on the finish. eh.

Bottle; a dark color with a small, light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, dark fruit, and milk sweetness. Palate was too thin and watery. Taste was rather bland; tasted almost watered down. Coffee only barely comes through. Some chalkiness, dark fruit and chocolate as well. Not actively bad...nor good.

A sub par sweet stout. Aroma was weak but could pick up hints of roasted malt. Pour was bad. Flat dark brown/black with no head. Taste was weak. Lightly carbonated mix of seltzer water and coffee with a bit of chocolate. Not good.

Bottle from Total Wine in Naples, FL. Pours a deep brown with a dissipating beige head. Aroma of nut shells, light roast coffee, and cocoa powder. Medium bodied but similar in texture to a brown ale. Initial flavor of dark roast and coffee grounds, with a tame bitterness to balance things out. Not much sweetness, which this needs to round things out. Finish has a slight astringency and peppery bite. Too much coffee and and not enough body or sweetness for me.

12 oz bottle from Lakefront Sampler from Bottle Barn; Nose of coffee and bittersweet chocolate, not overpowering but appealing; Very dark hazy brown with a big cinnamon colored head; flavor is definately coffee, with chocolate and very light hop bitterness and a bit of sweetness. Body a little thin, but its not an impy! Better than the ratings say!

This is kind of a watery stout. Tastes like something you’d get from Starbucks. The maltiness is very candy like. Not much of an aroma. Not very enticing to the eyes. Is a great novelty coffee beer.
