Commercial Description:
This unique stout combines the flavor of roasted malts and Milwaukee's reknown FUEL CAFE coffee. The fine balance of mild hops, the gentle acidity of choice cofee and the sweetness of the barley makes this an unforgettable brew.

12 oz. bottle. Pours black with a fizzy tan head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is roasted malts and a hint of coffee. The flavor has the same roasted maltiness, but increases the coffee by a factor of ten. The mouthfeel is medium and the finish is pretty dry. I liked this one more than most on the site apparently.

Black pour quickly vanishing tan head. This is a big disappointment. Smells musty sweetness. Mild coffee flavor. Watery finish.

Bottle. I’m not sure what to make of his beer. It didn’t have that strong of an aroma, and the flavor was a little weak to me. Perhaps I drank it too chilled, but I’ve had other beers that were "brewed with coffee" and this one just pales entirely compared to them.

Doesn’t feel like a stout, but the coffee is definitely all over this beer. Not bad, but it’s also not that great compared to other stouts that are far more complex.

12 oz bottle from Julio’s. Pours a cola like dark brown with a quickly dissipating off white head. Aroma is of coffee and chocolate. Taste is of light coffee, light notes of chocolate, not too much else. A bit thin bodied. Not that bad though, no off flavors.

Bottle from State Line. Deep blackish pour with 2-finger tan head. Aroma is roasty chocolatey malt, slight nuts, figs, and chocoff. The flavor is roasty malty up front, with some chocoff notes at mid-palate, and slight figgy hops at the finish.
