Nice sweet hops and coffee in smell. Black body with small dark head, maroon tint. I like the strong coffee taste without being real bitter. Makes it very smooth and drinkable. But too thin makes it quite watery. Leaves a light sweetness and the bitter comes out a little bit. Good beer, and reasonably priced too!

The strength of this beer’s aroma is that it’s not strong at all. Coffee notes can be detected, but they’re not overpowering. Pours almost jet black, with a tan head (I love it, reminds me of the oils on top of a nice espresso!). The flavor is not heavy it all, it’s moderately firm in your mouth, and overall a little muddled. The coffee flavor doesn’t come through right away, it’s a creeper. All in all though I think the not-so-intense coffee flavor makes this beer very drinkable. Not an instant winner, but definitely something I’d buy again.

Bottle: Nice aroma of roasted coffee and light black chocolate. Pours a dark brown, virtually black, with a big tan head with good retention. Rather weak flavor. Virtually nothing at the beginning and watery througout. Nice roasted coffee finish. One-dimensional, watery, and thin, but still drinkable.

Pours a fine stout head and color. As with many other ratings, the aroma here is better than the flavor: sort of like a caffe mocha topped with whipped creame but with a shot of drip coffee added. Flavorwise this beer is okay but it sort of falls flat in that the coffee is hardly noticeable and it’s a bit sour on the tongue. Still an ok stout though - just don’t have too many if you’re caffeine-sensitive.

Poured a dark brown (almost black) color with an averaged sized brown head. Aromas of roasted malts, chocolate and a latte coffee. Smells good. Taste was a dissapointment. Had a sourness to it. Some vanilla in the taste as well. Palate a little on the thin/watery side.

Malty toasted coffee aroma I Iiked. The head was very flat, dark brown coloring was ok.Light sweet coffee taste somewhat syrupy texture. Just a barely ok bottled stout.

Pours brown with tan head.Heavy aroma of coffee.I was impressed with the aroma and appearance.I should have stopped there.The flavor was of soured coffee.I did not care for this one.

Very large light brown head. The body is a black as expected. The aroma is cheap coffee and some light chocolate. Fresh baked bread. The taste is a slightly sweet coffee. Tastes like it has some milk and even some bitter hops. Loads of earthy notes. A medium mouthfeel.
