COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This unique stout combines the flavor of roasted malts and Milwaukee’s reknown FUEL CAFE coffee. The fine balance of mild hops, the gentle acidity of choice cofee and the sweetness of the barley makes this an unforgettable brew.

Opaque dark brown/black appearance with small head, multi-sized bubbles that didn’t last and almost no lacing. Can’t smell much either other than some coffee. Taste is rather watery with prickly carbonation, some dark chocolate, coffee, malt and slight hop bitterness as an aftertaste. Something is there that’s REALLY tart it makes my mouth pucker, but I can’t figure out what it is. Very dry finish. Don’t think I’ll try this one again.

Deep, dark brown but translucent with a silky tan head. Big cold coffee aroma with little detectable malt underneath. Roasty, coffee flavor with a pleasant aftertaste but insufficient stout character comes through the coffee. Not bad, but I prefer more depth and balance in a coffee beer.

Black. Tan, quick-dissolving head. A wiff off coffee as I poured, nose also has roasted chocolate. Coffee flavor right up front, slight hop character in the finish-just enought to balance. Sweet and roasty malt and coffee. Pleasant aftertaste. Medium body. Good stuff.

Pours black with a thick light-brown head. Smoky aroma of coffee and scorched toast. Strong roasted malt and coffee flavors. Body was a bit thinner than I expected but overall a good stout.

(Rating #171)

Pours dark brown/black, with a small tan head. Aromas of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, and hops. Flavor is sour malt, coffee, and chocolate. Body is a little too thin. Thanks to Dough77 for this one.

a lot of coffee here, but today’s big stouts can throw this for the sink. not bad, though. a bit tart/acidic, and slightly watery--suprisingly. not that sweet, but good, anyway.

Dommage!
