Commercial Description:
This unique stout combines the flavor of roasted malts and Milwaukee's reknown FUEL CAFE coffee. The fine balance of mild hops, the gentle acidity of choice cofee and the sweetness of the barley makes this an unforgettable brew.

Poured fairly dark brown, with a cream colored head. Strong coffee aroma, slight roast malt. Taste is mostly bitter coffee, maybe some mocha, finishes a bit bitter. Medium body with some carbonation that borders on too much. Not real stoutesque and nothing at all like a sweet stout. All around a bit too watery and timid. Wouldn’t even say it’s all that drinkable because of the bitterness. Just OK.

Pours black with tan head. Aromas of burnt malts and coffee. There is much more coffee aroma than flavor. Roasted malt and chocolate flavors with not very coffee. Quite acidic. Medium body with mild carbonation. Unlike their commercial description, this beer is quite forgettable. Average at best.

This pours a dark brown color with a small light brown head. Aroma is of sweet caramel and i guess coffee. Flavor is really bland, sweet malts, some caramel and maybe hints of chocolate not much coffee at all.

12oz bottle pours dark brown and pretty fair brown head. Nose is light milk chocolate and faint coffee. Flavor is like a watery expresso. Medium thin body. Nothing great here, but a solid effort for coffee stout.

This black mocha topped pour sort of smelled like coffee but was mainly sour and off. It tasted like a lightly roasted batch of beans and was watery and decently smooth. It wasn’t that good but I might have had a bad batch.

bottle- not bad- a nice upfront bitterness- strong coffee flavor that comes off fairly smoothly and finishes in much the same way- flavor rather intense, with a slight twang at the very end- would go to again.

Crushed with CaryTheDude. Black pour, a bit of a tan head. Slight aroma of coffee. Sour, coffee flavor. Pretty horrible, though kind of drinkable.

Crushed with Honkeybra. Very very smooth. Still kinda sucks. Definitely a good sweet stout,, but nothing amazing.
