COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This unique stout combines the flavor of roasted malts and Milwaukee’s reknown FUEL CAFE coffee. The fine balance of mild hops, the gentle acidity of choice cofee and the sweetness of the barley makes this an unforgettable brew.

Bottle. Poured a dark brown with a two finger lighter brown head. Aroma was coffee and a hint of bitter chocolate. Flavor was dry and bitter (but good) with hints of both coffee and chocolate. Medium/full body with soft carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. I really thought that this was better than most other people seem to think

SDalkoholic (1490) - Chula Vista, California, USA - NOV 7, 2010
Bottle from Pacific Liquor: Poured a pitch black color with a small development of foamy head. As for the nose, there is a minor scent of coffee, but it does smell rather sweet just like chocolate milk would. The flavor is subtle with only a minimal amount of coffee flavors while a roasted base of black chocolate malt takes over, but there is a strong resemblance of caffeine similar to a donut shop coffee. I was expecting something bigger and bolder, but it wasn’t that bad for the price.

Bottle. Dark beer with a quickly thinning head. Strong coffee scent. Comes off as a straight forward coffee stout with a good degree of bitterness. Sweetness comes through in the aftertaste.

Strong coffee aroma, but also very sweet tones. Thin tan head that disappears quickly... deep rich color. Medium body, mild carbonation. Sweet taste, somewhat satisfying.... clean finish. Okay, but not as satisfying as other, similar type stouts.

Poured an extremely dark brown with a weak tan head that faded to minimal lace rather quickly. Aroma was nice - sweet coffee and malts. Taste was decent with accents of coffee, smokiness, malt and mild hops. Very nice mouth feel. Overall, this was worth a try, although I probably won’t get it on a regular basis.

Liked the coffee aroma/flavor in this one...but the rest of the stout was a bit too sweet for my taste. Also, the alcohol was a bit too low for a stout (I don’t generally endorse a session stout, since I think a stout, by nature, is not really for a session).
