Commercial Description:
This unique stout combines the flavor of roasted malts and Milwaukee's reknown FUEL CAFE coffee. The fine balance of mild hops, the gentle acidity of choice cofee and the sweetness of the barley makes this an unforgettable brew.

12 oz. bottle. Pours black with a fizzy tan head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is roasted malts and a hint of coffee. The flavor has the same roasted maltiness, but increases the coffee by a factor of ten. The mouthfeel is medium and the finish is pretty dry. I liked this one more than most on the site apparently.

12 oz. botltle ours an opaque brown/black with a medium brown head. coffeeish aroma with some floral accents. Medium body, feels a little thin for a stout. Smooth, sweet flavor with some bittering coming on at the finish. Lacks the fullness and richness that I’m looking for.

Pours a deep cola brown with a thin beige head that rapidly depletes to a ring of bubbles hugging the edge of the glass. The nose is a sweet blend of dark roasted malt and coffee; this one smells a lot like coffee blended with a milk stout. Fairly light-bodied for the style, the mouthfeel features fine, tongue prickling carbonation and a fairly off-putting acrid finish. Sweet roasted malt, lactose and dry, acidic roast coffee notes all assert themselves in the flavor profile. As a "blend", however, this one just doesn’t work for me. I find that the biting, acidic character in this beer is just too much of a detractor for it to be enjoyable. Coffee beers are generally hit-or-miss for me, and this one’s definitely a "miss".

Pours a dark brown depth into the glass that pushes the lines of blackness, with a quickly receding off white almost tan head. Not as roasty in the nose as I was expecting, a hint of dry earthiness and roasted coffee beans, with a very light and very drinkable, light and very weak, with more of a nuttiness and not a lot of coffee flavors as I was expecting. Acrid and dry, with sweet hazelnut and almond flavors throughout. Back to the drawing board for this one.

The pour is black with a light tan head. Aroma has a touch of roasted coffee but is weak. Flavor has a light roastedness but overall could use some improvement.

Crushed with Honkeybra. Very very smooth. Still kinda sucks. Definitely a good sweet stout,, but nothing amazing.

12oz bottle via HAgen. pours almost black with ruby edges and a small beige head. Nose is roasted grains, hazelnut, coffee. Taste is the same with a bit of soy and chocolate. Body is light, carbonation is too high. I love coffee but this is sort of like drinking cheap carbonated coffee mixed with beer..lol..which i guess is what is is!

12 oz from LifeSource,Salem OR Nice looking stout, very dark brown almost black but not quite, nice tan head. Aroma is fine, as expected, coffee and roasty malts. Sweet malty flavour, with a hint of nice dark coffee, some fruity aspects also. Plate is quite watery, really watery in fact even for a sub-5% beer. OK but coulda been better had they improved the palate.
