Commercial Description:
This unique stout combines the flavor of roasted malts and Milwaukee's reknown FUEL CAFE coffee. The fine balance of mild hops, the gentle acidity of choice cofee and the sweetness of the barley makes this an unforgettable brew.

Good stuff for the most part if you like coffee and beer. Sweet and dark, good to sip. pours pretty much black with a small tan head and low carbonation. brown tinge around rim of glass. man, this has low alcohol for a stout. flavors are coffee, expresso, oxidization (cardboard) and alot of coffee bean bag notes. body is weak and uninteresting. lots of char on the finish. i will try to fins a fresh bottle.

Bottle from Bello Vino in Ann Arbor. Pours a nice, dark almost-black with a dark tan head. Aroma is roasty with a bit of smoke and mild coffee notes. The body is thin - a bit disappointing. Flavour is alright, typical roasted malt notes, with some caramel and coffee, but not as much of the latter as I expected, and a touch of sourness in the finish. A pretty middle of the road stout - I didn’t hate it, but it didn’t wow me either.

12 oz from LifeSource,Salem OR Nice looking stout, very dark brown almost black but not quite, nice tan head. Aroma is fine, as expected, coffee and roasty malts. Sweet malty flavour, with a hint of nice dark coffee, some fruity aspects also. Plate is quite watery, really watery in fact even for a sub-5% beer. OK but coulda been better had they improved the palate.

Pitch black but not really too viscous. Looks like used Harley shovelhead oil. Aroma is mild coffee with a tad of roastiness. No head. Not as strong as many stouts and is rather mild. This brew is easy for the taste buds of a lager lover to enjoy. For some reason I was expecting an imp stout and now I see why it is so frienly, its a sweet stout. Comes across more like a dark american lager that a stout. Very enjoyable coffe flavors without the intense bitterness. Just enough coffee to make it interesting. Very little carbonation but certainly more than a dry stout. Very acceptable brew, I liked it. Leaves no offensive bitter aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours deep brown with a tan head. The flavor and aroma is roasted malt and coffee. A bit on the artificial side, but decent nonetheless.

Brown with a thin beige head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malts. Taste roasted malts, coffee with some mild sweetness on the back end that finishes a little nutty. Thin and watery with a weak coffee flavor. After having snake chaser, I was excited for this, kind of a letdown. Not enough coffee in there.

Black pour with an aroma of coffee. Flavor of bitter coffee and chocolate. Not bad, not great either.
