This unique stout combines the flavor of roasted malts and Milwaukee’s reknown FUEL CAFE coffee. The fine balance of mild hops, the gentle acidity of choice cofee and the sweetness of the barley makes this an unforgettable brew.

Liked the coffee aroma/flavor in this one...but the rest of the stout was a bit too sweet for my taste. Also, the alcohol was a bit too low for a stout (I don’t generally endorse a session stout, since I think a stout, by nature, is not really for a session).

12oz bottle from the sampler case. This was an average stout with very little uniqueness. The coffee flavor was weak.

Poured from the bottle. Nice head, very dark black colour. Aroma is of malted barley. Flavour is very sweet, there is a bit of roasted notes some coffee and chocolate, however bitter. Overall its drinkable, and kinda a smooth transition through autumn.

Almost opaque brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Dry coffee and a whisper of dry cream. Mild sweet esters, well buried. Trace of dark fruits. Dry finish. Coffee linger. Okay.

Bottle. Near black with a beige foam. Earthy roast coffee with liquorice and chocolate. Mellow dark fruit with underlying sweet toffee. Peppery with an oily palate. Solid coffee bitterness on the finish.

Bottle from gbbf 2015 and drunk at home. Black beer lasting tan head. Certainly a strong coffee aroma. The flavour is more coffee bean fruity. The coffee is a little camp. Dryish but not powdery finish. That bean fruit flavour continues into the finish. Not sure I entirely liked it no bad flavours just a little too much coffee perhaps.
