COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This unique stout combines the flavor of roasted malts and Milwaukee’s reknown FUEL CAFE coffee. The fine balance of mild hops, the gentle acidity of choice cofee and the sweetness of the barley makes this an unforgettable brew.

Pours black with brown frothy head receding quickly. Pure espresso aroma, dark roasted coffee beans that have been sitting for 3 weeks. Medium body, first thing I notice is soy sauce, with more coffee. Simple.

Sampled at the Rapids Liquor Tasting. Mild all around, gentle in every sense - even the coffee angle, which is light.

12oz bottle pours a dark chocolate brown with a reddish hue and nice lacing. Aromas of coffee, chocolate, and toasted malt. Slightly bitter sweet flavor. Goes down smooth.

Good coffee infused beer. I wouldn’t be able to drink more tham just a couple of these. Pours dark, nice coffee aroma, nice dark brown head with a medium fullness. Worth the try.

12 ounce bottle poured into a brandy snifter. Pours a near black with a khaki colored head of foam that fizzles out quickly. The aroma has roasty bitterness and earthy coffee beans. The taste is more coffee. Its still a fairly bitter coffee, but it sweetens up with each sip. Medium bodied and medium carbonation.

Poured from bottle into a tulip glass. Very small white head and minimal lacing. Taste is strongly coffee, with a bit of sweetness to start and bitterness to finish. Overall, it’s pretty drinkable, but doesn’t have any flavor or aroma that makes it stand out. A mildly good coffee stout when it’s all said and done.

It’s not the best looking stout I’ve ever had as it lacks that fulsome head my learned off-sider kiwianer had on his. However, it is a beautiful shade of tawny with ruby notes and so looks similar to port. The aroma is coffee all over. It’s difficult to achieve subtlety with such a strong component, but there are also notes of plum and cherry tobacco. The flavour reflects this without the coffee being utterly overpowering. There’s carbonation there that keeps things ticking along. For what is designated as a sweet stout, it isn’t overly sweet at all which suits me down to the ground. A likable fellow this one.

The head is robust, the body black. It smells darkmalty, coffee, bit mild, bit roasty. The taste is darkmalty, roasty, mild aroma coffee, OK
