Quite a good IPA. Bought this on a whim as I had never seen anything from this brewery. Pours a beautiful golden brown body with a nice few fingers of head on top. Aroma is supreme hops with light caramel malts and citrus aromas more subtle. The hops are huge on the taste and the 7% Abv definately adds to the beer. Overall, quite a good IPA

Pours an amber orange color with a white soapy head. Has an aroma of grapefruit, apricot, caramel, and pine. Has a sweet citrus taste with a carbonation bite and subdued hop hit. More thin and carby than creamy. Thin mouthfeel.

12 oz brown bottle. Pours deep gold to light orange in colour. Light haze. Well formed foamy, creamy white cap. Good clinging lacing leaves rings in the glass. Aroma has notes of pine and grapefruit. Very citrusy taste, notes of grapefruit, sweet oranges, lemon. Some pine notes. Nice bitterness, has a bit of a bite but is still in balance. Aftertaste has some woody hints and some grapefruit and grass. Creamy body, smooth and soft in the mouth without a lot of carbonation bite. Excellent drinkability. Very solid IPA that will become a staple in my beer fridge.

Pours a hazy light amber with a thin head. The aroma is piney, citrusy and floral...sort of like if you were walking in a flower shop and they had spruce trees also. Taste upfront is a bouquet of flowers, the bitter hits the mid-palate for just a second, then moves to a hoppy, refreshing, un-dry finish. There is something about almost all of Lakefront beers: They are surprisingly refreshing.

Had at the brewery on the tour. Good IPA but there is some unusual flavor going on that I can’t place. Not bad just I can’t place it. Serving: Tap

Arayaga2 (1435) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 14, 2010
Hazy rusty cider colored with a big tan head. Aroma is mild but lemony, and taste has odd bits of honey, lime, and Lakefront’s house yeast, with a meaty, pity bitterness into the finish, with hints of cider.

12 oz. bottle, pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma of potent floral hops, citrus and grapefruit. Flavour is less potent, with grapefruit upfront, followed with citrus and finishes with medium-intensity floral hop bitterness and a soapy feel. Good IPA.

Not much aroma. Very sweet, floral almost airfreshner flavours. Citrus almost orange juice flavour but no bitterness. A bit disappointing given it’s reputation......
