Hazy copper with lots of particulates and a thin but lasting beige head. Sticky full body with high carbonation.
Aroma: citrusy hops.
Taste: lots of grassy hops and some musty grain.

Tasted from bottle into a nonic pint glass. Part of a Beers of the World mix-pack. Poured a cloudy, deep orange-amber color with huge off-white foam, long-lasting with decent lace. Powerful aromas of caramel, toffee, and grapefruity hops. Lots and lots of hops. Rich malty-sweet flavor with equally strong hops bitterness/flavor: tangy, tart, zesty. Fruity English ale esters. Lingering fruity and bitter aftertaste. Above average IPA, certainly hop forward but not ridiculous. The strong hops and alcohol became more perfumey/medicinal as it warmed. I prefer more balanced styles, but I must admit this is a very well-crafted beer.

Tap: Clear copper color with a white head and super sticky lacing. Mild hop aroma with citrus. Weak flavor - the malts came thru more than the hops. What? Is this an IPA. Lame.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a decent off-white head. Aroma of florals, pine, and citrus. Taste is citrus hops, pine and malt. Good balance. Moderate bitterness. Enjoyable.

Cloudy, unfiltered orange, big frothy head.Smells like grapefruit and caramel and some stoney, basementy aromas, too. Fairly rich palate. Lots or grapefruit, lots of caramel, and a nice earthy, sticky finish.

Pours white frothy head. Golden, hazy with particulate in the pour. Pleasant, citrusy hop aroma with hints of bananas, bread and nuts. Medium bodied with pleasant carbonation. Bitter finish that is medium-long. Solid IPA.

Pint tap. Lakefront’s IPA has a tame level of hops and a sticky, medium body. The flavors won’t hit you too hard, but they’re crisp, grassy and long lasting.
