Pours a hazy golden amber coloring with a nice size white creamy head. Zesty citrus nose with a bit of sticky resin notes as well. Not much of a malt body, with differents strains of hops coming through at different times on the palate. Pretty standard fare here, not

On tap @ the Memorial Union on Lake Mendota - Pours hazy dark amber with a big foamy cream head. The smell is wonderful -- sweet malt and a blast of floral hops and honey. The taste is a bit of a letdown though, as it’s all out of balance. it’s way hoppy and bitter without much malt. The finish is real bitter and burns just a bit. Syrupy and resiny on the tongue. A beer that doesn’t live up to its aroma, but decent nonetheless.

Botle. Gold pour. Very resinous aroma with some odd old apple aroma. Flavor is like old oxidized apples and some floral/citrus hops. Meh.

A golden IPA with a thin white head. A light malty aroma, with restrained pinhey hops, and light mango pulp. In mouth, a nice IPA with floral hops, biscuitty malt, melding well with the bitterness, medium bodied. Bottle is approx. 9 months old and holds well still. Trade with Piscator, merci Kris!

12oz bottle from Siciliano’s Grand Rapids, bottled feb 09. Wow, its actually fresh, imagine that, or at-least smells that way. Pours a clear dark gold with a big sticky off-white foamy frothy head. Aroma is lovely, citrusy, resiny, papaya, light pine, some sticky sweet caramel. Flavor is not quite as good, or fresh, as the aroma, bitter resin, earthy, sweet bright tropical fruits, peaches, bright sweetness that is fairly rich, toasted, piney. Medium bodied, viscous without being too sticky, combination of soft large and fine sparse sharp carbonation. Pretty nice, actually very nice.

A very tasty and hoppy IPA. Bottled in April 2009. Nice tangy hop with slight spice. Pours dark orange with little head.

Draft. Opaque orange/pumpkin color. Nice head/lacing. Smells sweet, hops, vaguely piney. Fresh. Tastes mildly of hops, not particularly bitter, some malt in there. A mild refreshing beer.

Poured into my pint glass the beer is typical clear burnt orange. Almost no head. The smell is slightly hoppy but subdued by malt. It’s a sweeter aroma then I anticipated. The flavor is moderately hoppy with a slight bitterness. Some pine a touch of citrus but, the malt manages to rein in all the hops and settle the flavor down. It’s got a medium body with mild carbonation. Fits nicely with the syle. This is a nice offering from one of my local breweries. This is an AIPA that everyone can enjoy.
