Tastes like an IPA, but its a lighter one with a soft aftertaste instead of the usual bitterness.

Served on tap in a pint Appearance – The beer is served a lightly hazed golden orange color with a one finger head of billowy white foam. The head fades rather quickly leaving foamy rings of lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma of the beer is quite heavy of a citrus hop smell of grapefruit and pine. Along with the hoppy smells comes some more malty aromas with both a bready and light caramel aroma. A of a tangerine smell mixes in with the rest, creating a sweeter smell overall. Taste – The taste is much drier than anticipated from the nose. It begins with a more cracker like flavor with a bit of a caramel sweetness. Right from the start there is a decent sum of a grapefruit hop that grows stronger as the flavor moves onto the end. Along with the grapefruit growing stronger, some pine hop and a bit of herbal hop work their way onto the tongue. The caramel that was present upfront, fades away all while the hops increase, and in the end the combination of flavors leaves a drier and rather resinous bitter flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the thicker and creamier side with a carbonation level that is on the higher side. The thicker body really accentuates the hop flavors nicely as the higher carbonation is nice for the cracker flavors creating a some-what crisp feel. Overall – A drier and crisper IPA with a decently bitter hop bite. A fairly nice drinker.

Clear dark copper under a foamy white head. Dank leafy earthy nose with a touch of peppery grapefruit. Sweet hoppy flavor with a sturdy bright wet hop flavor, some light leafy lemon notes and a sweet caramalty finish.

On tap at Brunzies. Mild fruity hop aroma, some apricot and peach. Dark amber-copper hazy with thin foamy white head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Medium sweet malt notes. Nice flavorful hop profile with apricot and other fruity notes. Finish is smooth and hoppy with sweet lingering after.

pours a hazy copper with a medium beige head. citrus aroma. interesting taste for an IPA. Definite malt presence. Still with the hoppy bitterness, and a hint or orange citrus, but different. I like it. Good beer!

Aroma was wonderful - rich citrus notes and pine with hints of straw. If the flavor delivered what the aroma promised this beer would have been a 4.0 or higher. Taste is nowhere near as citrusy as it should be but still has good elements. Also has some nice, not overpowering, malt flavors. An overall decent beer. (I’d definitely buy an air freshener if Lakefront Brewery had one to sell haha).

I wanted so much for this to be more than it is. The aroma carries a lot of citrus and a faint grassiness. The colour is great. Lacing and head - tick. Bitterness is all up front and it’s a very short carry and finish.

A very easy drinking IPA. Pine and hay on the nose. Grapefruit and pine on the palate, with just a little malt coming through. Finishes with more of a woody note.
