3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught samples + full pints@source during & after brewery tour 23viii13. Somewhat roughish standard IPA with no real trademark hop or malt character, mid-heavy in palate and ABV (slight sting), some resin and bland citrus, just sessionable enough after a packed & pacy brewery tour.

I love IPAs, and this one is pretty good. Rich foamy head and lots of hoppy goodness.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a hazy golden with a robust, foamy, long lasting white head. The aroma has pine, grapefruit, mango, a good amount of caramel, and herbal hops. The taste is big on a blend of pine, caramel, and mango. Herbal impressions are quite abundant as well It really doesnít have much of a hoppy bite. For an IPA, it seems more flat. Medium bodied, oily in texture, mild in carbonation. This is a pretty solid beer. But there isnít anything extraordinary to report.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with a finger of foamy off white head. Aroma of faint citrus and piney hops. Taste follows the nose, with some sweet malts and moderate hop bitterness.
Mouthfeel is ok, nothing special.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle purchased at Four Firkins. Strong hop presence from the beginning. This one knows itís an IPA and owns it. Golden color with orange hue. Engulfs the mouth with hops with a last second attempt to balance with a slight sweetness. A pretty good IPA when youíre searching for one in its pure form.

Bottle at Fiddlesticks in Elkhorn with Sarah and the Trauts. Poured a foggy orange with 1 finger head. Nose is rich with hops...full flavor....very smooth...very tasty. Will just have to do another.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: JUL 29, 2013 The Lost Notebook Files Beer #2. Got this as a gift from friends in a beer of the month club type order. Pours a clear amberish brown with minimal head. Aroma is thin and grassy. Tastes like ten ounces of IPA mixed with two ounces of water. Mediciney aftertaste. In retrospect, this probably wasnít very fresh.
