Botle. Gold pour. Very resinous aroma with some odd old apple aroma. Flavor is like old oxidized apples and some floral/citrus hops. Meh.

Tap @ Benno’s.. thanks to STi for the recommendation! Very hazy gold with a tall beige head. Grapefruit, pine, pineapple, and caramel provided a smooth and very enticing aroma. Fuller-bodied than expected, lightly oily through the palate, and a very crisp bitterness on the finish. Nice malt backing for the healty dose of citrus and pine hoppiness. Very well done!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 BückDich (5467) - McCall, Idaho, USA - SEP 26, 2010
Bottle: Pours an amber color with an average head. The nose is hoppy and clean with a rich malty caramel base, moreso than I would expect. Dry hop notes in the flavor to balance the big body and a chewy finish with more pine and resin in the finish. Quite a nice ipa.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Cornfield (5277) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - FEB 16, 2008
This pours a clear pale amber body with a substancial head that covers the glass with heavy lacing. The aroma hold pink grapefruit, some flowers, a few pine needles, and a sweet pale malt. Both pink and yellow grapefruit, quite fresh, begin the flavor followed by a light sweet malt. The hoppy bitterness begins to build at the midpoint but never quite crescendos as this hophead would like. Still, it finishes on a dry, bitter note that I appreciate. Not bad at all.

12 ounce bottle from Vintage Cellar in Blacksburg. Thanks! Pours a hazy orange color with a large rocky head. Good head retention and lacing. Very fruity aroma with notes of green apple, citrus and peach. Some light caramel notes. Taste is citrus hops, green apple and a malty finish. Medium bodied. Fairly nice.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Ernest (5187) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAR 17, 2008
Bottle (Jan 08 bottling).
Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing.
Body is light to medium amber.
Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (resin, grapefruit).
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter.
Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation, lightly astringent.
Pretty ordinary, American, citric rendition; plenty of hops in the nose and finish, but not much depth under them. Nice mouthfeel though.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Dickinsonbeer (5075) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - AUG 7, 2008
12 oz bottle. Pours a slight hazy deep copper with a lasting medium head and some slight lace. Aroma is not really skunk, but initially some weird sulfur, then some solventy cleanser, and light citrus hops. More citrus hops, weird slight cascade metallic tang to it, earthy dirtiness, some light medium crystal sharpness in there- and a bit muddled. Finish isn’t really that bitter, but a bit slick and tangy. Meh.

Bottle. Sweet orange/caramel malt and pine/grapefruit peel aroma. Hazy amber color with small head. Light toffee malt and moderately bitter pine/citrus peel hops flavor. Nice body. Solid.
