3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A - Pours an orange amber color. 2 finger frothy head that sink slowly.
S - Citrus hops-grapefruit rind, slight lemon, and a tiny bit of pine. A subtle caramel malt.
T - Huge grapefruit! Itís like taking a huge bite of a sweetened muted grapefruit. A slight caramel malt comes through to back up the subdued grape-fruity hops. Mouthfeel is medium to heavy.
M - Medium body.
This is an interesting IPA. Lots of sweet grapefruit. No harsh bitterness. Very mellow. Low hop bitterness. The huge citrus profile makes me very happy. Itís not sharp but very softened. Iím a sucker for big citrus hops. The dullness doesnít take away from the drinkability. Itís very drinkable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at Rams. Dark and roasty IPA with a considerable malt backbone and earthy hop balance. The 7 ABV killed me tonight/wasnít expecting it. Iím afraid the beer must suffer.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle. Pours amber with a ton of chunks floating about even though I pulled up from the pour and left most of the sediment in the bottle. Below average IPA imho but itís drinkable. meh

Crisp, bitter IPA. It's good. Refreshing. The hops hang very softly on the palate.

Lakefrontís IPA is crisp, clean, and balanced. While thereís lots of bright orange and grapefruit character on the palate, finish is short and mellow. Medium bitterness at the middle of the mouth. Cream and pine sap nuances. Lakefrontís ale is hop-forward without being masochistic.

Almost clear gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is smooth with decent fine carbonation. Light malt sweetness. A light and cooling piney start to the hops, edging toward minty. Super light skunk and hop spice. Touches of ripe orange and marmalade and a little tropical fruits. Light semi dry finish. Mild bitter linger. A pretty smooth and drinkable IPA.

12 oz bottle from forgotten source. Smooth and creamy, no aftertaste or hop bite. Seems to be a superior IPA.
