Bottle. Pours a medium amber with a thin white head. Hoppy aroma (resin). Taste is very bitter, hoppy notes of spruce and citrus. Warms to an even hoppier taste. Finishes with a very hoppy bitterness. Not much malt in here, very hoppy, but good...

Pours bright golden with a bit of light tan head. Aroma of citrus and a bit of grapefruit. Taste is a bit sweet with mainly bitter tones. Finish oily and low in carbonation. Overall a decent IPA but didn’t shell shock me

Bottle. Pours amber with a clear white head and moderate lacing. Sweet, slightly buttery aroma. No clear hop character. Taste is a muddled mess of bitter, butter, pine, some fruits. Not great, definitely an IPA, but an unbalanced IPA.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange with white head. Tons of citrusy grapefruit on the nose, taste is similar. Really easy to drink, refreshing. Great beer for the price.

Pours a clear amber though a lot of suspended solids, and a consistent off white head leaving moderate lace. Aroma is citrus, grass, and light pine. Nice enjoyable Aroma. Flavour is grapefruit, resin, pine, grass, medium smooth bitterness, and some sweet caramel that gives good balance.

On tap at a local pizza place in Pewaukee. Pours a golden orange with a foamy white head leaving very nice circular lacing. Aroma has fresh cut grass and pine and some citrus. Taste is of pine and resin and grapefruit, with a solid sweet caramel background. Medium bodied and a bit sticky. Have they adjusted the hop recipe - this used to completely be a cascade grapefruit bomb. Now it is balanced, if leaning more to the hoppy side, and more piney/grassy than citrusy. Very nice! Amazed I have not rated this, and amazed that it was better than memory served.

12oz bottle, from Jungle Jim’s in Fairfield. Bottled 5/14/13. ABV is labeled 6.6%. Mostly clear amber color. Mildly hazy with fine particles in the body. Good one-finger thick white head. Nice mountains of lace. Medium-plus body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Dry finish. Caramel malts, lightly spicy. Nice citrusy (light grapefruit), resiny hops. Bitter, and sweet taste. Respectable IPA, good flavor

Pours a hazy orange with a half finger white head. Good lacing and head retention. Smells is all hops with lots of grapefruit and orange citrus. Really no malt detectable at all. Flavor starts out with tons of citrus from the hops along with a moderate bitterness. A little pit of grainiy malt is detectable in the middle but not a whole lot. Hops are king. Finish is pretty long lasting and drying. Overall this is a pretty good IPA. Could use a little more malt flavor but the hoppiness is wonderful.

Hoptastically hop sense. Sharp, bitter, biting hops with mild palate. Heavy aroma dark amber color. Little head.
