BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA Aug 15, 2008 Pours a clear hay yellow color with a fine looking cloudy white head. Fresh biscuity nose, with a floral dose of citrusy hops. Clean and refreshing on the palate, with just the slightest hint of adjuncts, but not disappointing at all even though it misses a few style marks, but overall I found this to be quite easy to drink. checkmatei1 (244), Willow Grove, USA Jul 29, 2008 Bottle: Poured a light golden color with not much head. The aroma was earthy and malty. The flavor was that of corn and barley. Not much character from malt or hops. Overall, just an OK beer. amish_caravan (209), Winona, Minnesota, USA Jul 10, 2008 pours light golden color with quickly disappearing head. scent is of amonia and some smelly feet. taste is a little better, but still has some stale taste to it. Maybe it was an old bottle, but either way, it didn’t taste very pleasent. I wouldn’t purchase this again. IlanMan (529), Winona, Minnesota, USA Jul 10, 2008 pour is light golden with little head. Aroma is a little ass like but the flavor is very sweet and smooth. Very little hop character. Decent or a pils. Probably won’t buy again however. zombywoof (300), Shawnee, Kansas, USA Jul 9, 2008 Color of straw with a thin white head. Lactic malty aroma with a hint of fruit. Taste of cereal malt, some tartness, spice and mild floral notes. It has a bit of the Saaz hoppiness I associate with a Bohemian Pilsner like Pilsner Urquell but muted. A bit of minerals on the finish along with some caramel and brisk carbonation. Seems more a Vienna than a German Pils but I ain’t complaining and I dig the old-timey art deco label.
