COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the words of our President and founding father, Russ Klisch, "Klisch Pilsner is a meat and potatoes beer," meaning that though there are no darker specialty grains used to influence the color or texture of this beer, it is nonetheless a full-bodied satisfying all-malt brew. The recipe is simple, but how it is put together is what gives this beer its complexity. The deep golden color and malty flavor come from an ample amount of domestic malted barley and imported hops. The addition of Saaz hops added at the end of a two-hour boil gives the beer a wonderful balance with the accent on the hops.

Clear light amber with a medium diminishing frothy white head and tons of bubbles. Floral aroma of lemon, apricot, sweat, honey and light bread. Medium watery body with lively carbonation. Very refreshing. Flavor of honey, apricot, red apple, toasted light bread, pistachio, and a hint of spice/wood. Very satisfying, clean and balanced. Perfect with brats on this hot day. Very good, I am a fan of this one.

Bottle pours a clear yellow with a large white head and good lace. The aroma is floral and malty. The flavor is malty with a hop bite, slight, but a bite none the less. The palate is brothy and carbonated. Overall, not bad, but not a stellar Pilsener.

I'll start this off with the traditional "I hate Pilsners" statement. Yellow, but almost amber color with little head. Very nice hoppy flavor and aroma. There is a small floral taste as well. Nothing 'off' about it. Quite nice, especially for one who traditionally does not care for this style!

nice medium yellow color with decent white had...lots of carbonation. strong aroma of malt and some flowery undertones as well as a bit of sweet grass. crisp and dry...good flavor of sweet malt and very good hoppy profile. this is one of the better pils i've had thus far...cheers to Lakefront, gotta love Milwaukee.

First sniff was yeast hop and a little malt, nice clean pilsner taste, nice malt hop mix but only a little more complex than the standard macro

I am starting to notice a trend with this brewery. This beer, as with the others that I have tried so far, has a malty sweetness and is on the dark side for its style. A decent beer nonetheless.

standard pils appearance. Lightly floral, bready and inviting with dmso hints. Dry, floral sweet, then more dry. pilsener malts and sweet floral hops.

I tried this along with three other pilseners, and this is simply not a pilsener. Its way underhopped, and lacked that pilsener "bite". This is unfortunate, since the beer itself was not so bad - malty, almost fruity.

Bottle. This beer formed a small sized white head that was smooth with fine-medium sized bubbles that quickly dissipated. The body was transparent with fast rising carbonation and a yellow hue. The nose was malty, sweet and somewhat fruity. The flavor was sweet and bitter. The mouthfeel was tingly and this beer had fair lacing.
