COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the words of our President and founding father, Russ Klisch, "Klisch Pilsner is a meat and potatoes beer," meaning that though there are no darker specialty grains used to influence the color or texture of this beer, it is nonetheless a full-bodied satisfying all-malt brew. The recipe is simple, but how it is put together is what gives this beer its complexity. The deep golden color and malty flavor come from an ample amount of domestic malted barley and imported hops. The addition of Saaz hops added at the end of a two-hour boil gives the beer a wonderful balance with the accent on the hops.

I am 59 years of age and I love great beer. This is the greatest bone-fide Pilsener beer I have drank in my life. Just don't be put off by the appearance, more yellow than golden and very cloudy. This is superb beer!! Incredible hops, balance, and finish. Hoorah!!

Bottle---not a big pilsner guy, but this is a fine pils. Yellow color with a white head that doesn’t last. Grassy hop aroma, malt taste with grass and a bit of corn. Nice crisp finish. Well done.

Pours hazy gold wth a white head. Aroma is grass, florals and some ceral notes. Taste is sweet with some tartness. Light mouth feel with a somewhat astringent finish. This is a pretty solid pils, refreshing and perfect for the end of a weekend.

Spot on for a pilsenr, a magnificient simplicity that makes this one easily drinkable.

Mild aroma, just a touch of malts. Pours a slightly hazy amber, with a small white head. Bready malts predominate the flavor, with a touch of earthy hops in the finish. Not a complex beer by any stretch of the imagination. It’s drinkable, but with so many better options out there, I won’t be going back to this one by choice.

Hazy golden yellow pour. Nose balanced and sweet, with a small dissipating head. Taste is grainy, and not full of flavor or any real depth. Finish is somewhat bitter, medium duration. Average at best, no knockout punch for me, but than again maybe not style. Quaff Score 4 / 10

Pours a hazy golden yellow with a white head and aroma of malt and fruits. Taste is of sweet malt, grains, fruits, and light hops with a slight bitter finish. Light, subtle, and thin mouthful but not much going on.

Bottle pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is somewhat sweet with additional grassy/floral/herbal notes. Flavor is non-offensive but really not much going on to put it on the pilsner radar. Overall body is light and the finish is lightly bitter.
