COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pure Milwaukee Genius Series 2: A true Wisconsin Lager - A freshly plowed acre of soft, rich soil. Without a single word it tells the story of a community, hard work, and a fierce dedication to the land. It recalls a time when neighbor looked after neighbor. And it reminds us that everything that we need we can get right from our good Wisconsin Earth. With this in mind, Lakefront set out to try something new, or old as it were - using all locally grown ingredients to create a distinctly Wisconsin beer. Ample amounts of Wisconsin grown 6-row malted barley give this unfiltered lager its hearty body and hazy straw color. Its malty sweetness is balanced with an elegant finish from Wisconsin grown Cascade hops. The result - a flavor that is signature to Wisconsin. So raise your bottle high, toast your neighbor, and taste the soul of Wisconsin.

Hazy slightly brownish orange. Good head, retention, lace. Pilsner like aroma, sharp kind skunkyish pungent, sweet grainy breadiness. Taste is smooth soft, malty bready, with orange sweetness, spices, spicey finish with bready sweet malt with orange/tangerine notes. Something I really like about this flavor profile of this beer. Its like a malty pilsner but bready/wheaty like with soft sweet maltiness. I like.Pretty delicious.Would get again, and great price. They must love their customers.

Two fingers of head on a hazy medium straw colored body. Looks great. It smells like caramel, grain and pine. Nice combination. The taste has a good pine bitterness to it, but the caramel sweetness balances it out. A nice profile. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation and medium body. Nice job Wisconsin.

Bottle. Pours clear golden orange with a large, creamy white head, medium-long retention with good lacing. Aroma is Pils malt dominant, light creamed corn notes, spicy hops, and a clean lager character. Flavor is malt dominant with light hops and bitterness and a lightly sweet husky malt finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden. A whiff of high-quality barley in the nose, deep bready notes, and lightly floral hops. Flavor is full, slightly sweet & lots of textured grain flavors throughout backed by a lasting resiny hop kick with just a bit of alcohol in the finish. An excellent brew from the local ingredients - what a wonderful world we would live in if every local brewery strove to brew strictly from what was locally available - these are the kinds of unique incredible flavors that could be produced in just a simple lager.
