Sweet, floral aroma with just a hint of citrus fruit. Very restrained flavour: perhaps some sourness. The finish needed a bit of hoppiness. There was something rather artificial lurking in the background. Presumably sorghum, whatever that is. fredjaz (108), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Dec 25, 2007 Pours a cloudy straw yellow with not much head. Aroma is fairly strong, somewhat malty and fruity with just a hint of hops. Flavor is crisp and pleasant, but rather weak - mainly fruity, more like a cider than a beer. It feels watery and thin, but at least it is drinkable. I’ve had plenty worse. Slipstream (747), USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Dec 14, 2007 Mild, but pleasant aroma and a foamy, fast-fading head. Now here is an unusual beer, made from sorghum for people who are allergic to gluten (which I know is in wheat, but is it in barley too?). Is there any malt in this beer? I don’t know. It tastes like a thin hefeweizen - grains and hints of clove, cherry, and lemon peel. Unusual flavor, possibly due to the sorghum. And what is the point of adding "rice extract", whatever that is? This is intriguing and off the main road - not the greatest brew ever, but I give it points for originality. brewblackhole (1370), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 14, 2007 Taste was fruit and grain, like you dumped apple juice on your oatmeal, taste was cereal and a tart fruit, with hints of molassas and a sour fruit in the finish. Had an odd mouth feel, almost like I was drinking a carbonated wine, not offensive, but I’m glad I’m not Celiac obguthr (1014), Poquoson, Virginia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 1/5 | 15/20 | Dec 2, 2007 Pretty neat aroma of saffron, hay, and honey. Clear yellow with a thick frothy head. Stronger than expected taste, reasonably sour, harsh mouthfeel. It tastes of honey and lemon, but mainly sour apple. This is very good, and I can’t understand some of the other ratings. It’s too carbonated perhaps, but it tastes great. sliffy (1966), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 28, 2007 Bottle: Pours a clear gold with a light white head. Aroma, sweet spices, and an herbal and floral character, some bready notes. Flavor, sweet corn, bready, herbal and floral hops. I was expecting something horrid, but this wasn’t really that bad at all. I could enjoy it if it was infact my only option. troyc (1175), Lubbock, Texas, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 23, 2007 (Bottle) Pours a yellow hue with a white head. Sweet malt aroma. Light hop notes, with a sweet grain base. Better body compared to other sorghum beers that I’ve tried. Fine carbonation. Not very good, but all right for a gluten free beer.
