Pours a light copper with fizzy white head. Nose and taste are corny and fizzy. Not a fan.

One of the better Oktoberfest style beers out there. Tasty, easy drinking, and all around spot on.

Pours a hazy amber with a light tan head, mostly dissipating. Nose is faintly of malt. Average creaminess on the palate, the taste is mild and of oats, bran and grains with very little evidence of hops. An average, unexciting marzen. Try it with beer nuts or pretzels.

Originally reviewed: 10/11/10. 12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours a transparent dark orange with a small white head capping it off. Little-to-no lace left behind. Basic nose. Some caramel, bread, and faint ethanol. The body was firm. A little slick at times, but decent carbonation overall. Good toffee sweetness right away, but there’s a slightly annoying alcohol burn on the finish. Clouds all other aspects of aftertaste. Fairly bready beer, which I like, but that ethanol characteristic is a little turnoff. Glad I had the opportunity, but not one of my faves.

4/20/12. 12oz bottle. Clear amber pour with a nice, thick khaki head that cuts in half and laces in small rings. Sweet, slightly fruity aroma with touches of caramel and graininess. Even sweeter flavor with touches of caramel, malt, and black tea. This practically tastes like a sweet tea. Not my favorite.

Bottle. Reddish amber pour with a smaller white head. Nose is musty caramel and a hint of metal. Watery palate, and the taste is just a malty metallic mess. Swing and a miss.

Decent beer. The taste is adequate, but a bit skunky. The color is great, but nothing else about this beer is remarkable.

Pours a light brown clear with a decent head. Aroma of lager. Flavor is more of a mouthful, but watery with light roast. Nothing to write home about.

Bottle
Pours a decent amber orange with a nose of malty vinegar-based paint and autumn leaves. Flavor is autumn leaves, melon, light caramel, and a touch of harvested field dew. Oily mouthfeel. Very strange nose and taste.

(12oz bottle from Total Wine Scottsdale). Pours a hazy orange-copper color with thin off-white head. Light carbonation. Aroma is spice, cooked apple and butter. Taste is metallic with more apple and spice. Medium bodied with a slick texture. Tastes like a spiced apple cider. weird.
