| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 29, 2004 This pours a deep amber color with virtually no head but has a lasting carbonation, small bubbles rising from the glass bottom the entire drink. The aroma is mildy sweet malts with a hint of fruits. A bit of a bitter fruit flavor, but feels good in the mouth and slides down easily, leaving a somewhat sour aftertaste. Not too bad. jewedekind (450), Middleton, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/20 | Sep 28, 2004 Poured a thin white head that skeedaddled away. Left a nice berry or jelly aroma. Shoulda been a warning...Contamination ALERT. Taste of odd jam and winey flavors..lacto? Sorry guys...a full out miss. Try and clean up your act. Color is red-brown...pretty much in the Marzen range (but slightly on the dark side)...too much wood..not a good blend of malt Suttree (2708), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 26, 2004 Cloudy copper, decent head. Bagel-ish aroma. Spicy vegetable aroma and flavors. Nice mellow malt base, hints of berries pop up as it warms. Not bad. Thanks to Marinaro500 for this trade! scrawfis (143), Naperville, Illinois, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 24, 2004 Copper colered with a small whitesh head. The aroma is predominately fresh malt. The flavor is again malty, but very fresh tasting. Toward the finish, some hints of grain. Flavor and finish is full as expected from an Oktoberfest. Very smooth and very drinkable. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 23, 2004 Not much head, but a nice dark tan color. Taste is grapey, strangely vinous with hints of wine? Bitterness is there, but a little off in my opinion. Still a decent beer. 5000 (2409), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 22, 2004 Bottle pours a dark amber, small fizzly white head that quickly vanishes, light carbonation, with sketchy lacing.   Malts & oats on the nose.   Malty taste, some grains, lightly sweet.   Medium body & mouthfeel.   Finishes somewhat biscuity.   Meh... better examples exist.   Thanks goes out to footbalm for the trade.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 20, 2004 Pours an oktoberfest red, with a fluffy white head. Aroma is malt with a hint of fruit, maybe cherries. Taste is thin, and lacking, something I’ve found in the majority of Oktoberfests. Hops barely detectable. Toasted bitter finish.
