| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 25, 2008 A bit of a hazy copper beer, with a fizzy head that disappears completely - slightly tangy aroma, yeasty/bready character, some tart qualities that seem to be indicative of the beginning stages of an infection - yea, it tastes like it’s at the first stages of infection, too - a bit of acidity and vegetal character - underneath that, you have the semi-sweet, smooth maltiness of your standard o-fest, along with some apparent hop bitterness and buttery character - some tangy, fruity notes (is that "almost infected" quality intentional?) - light notes of toast in the finish - not terrible, but you’d figure a brewery that’s been around this long would have better quality control. michael-pollack (2654), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 21, 2008 Bottle at Jerry’s. Amber with fair, creamy beige head / Simple, sweet nose of corn / Light to medium body, lightly creamy, with moderately sweet malts and just a touch of hops on the good finish / Plain but good flavors of toasted grain and burnt sugar / A simple brew. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 12, 2008 Poured from a 12oz bottle and served in a pint glass. This beer poured a clear copper with a decent head of fizzy tan foam. Some faint lace was left around the glass. The aroma of the beer included toasted caramel, hay, and a faint metallic note. The flavor had a solid dose of chewy caramel and nuts followed up by a quick, lightly bitter grassy hop finish. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. Drinkable, but nothing special. jbuzz (661), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 21, 2008 I found this beer for $ .75 on my last beer outing...so the frugal bastard I am, put one in the cart...
Orange amber color, very little head with a normal pour. Alright taste, not nearly as thick as it should have been for the style. But it’s still not bad...
It’s okay, not an oktoberfest beer. More of a it’s 70 degrees outside and I just want something to drink beer. I should have bought a case for $15. It would have been great party fodder.
