| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 13, 2008 This is a nice, tasty beer, but defintiely on the light, thin side for an Oktoberfest. It’s amber with a huge, off-white head that slowly shrinks to leave a little weak lace. The aroma is very nice, flowery, lemon, bread, crust, hints of pine and fruit. The taste is nice, also, being fruity, lemony, with light cracker quality, zesty, apple peepl, and light yeastiness, with light bitterness balancing the light sweetness and perhaps just having the edge. However, its’s a bit thin and light, and not exactly what I think of for this style. At least it’s more flavourful than the Gordon Biersch version. presario (2956), Calgary, Alberta, Canada

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 10, 2008 Pours hazy orange with off-white head. Nose is orange marmalade, hopcitrus, spicy tropical fruit, malt, and some mild vegetals. Tastes malty, with hopcitrus, orange zest, honey, and hops. None of the off aromas were present in the flavor, but I still found this one to be around average at best. AmEricanbrew (1808), Doing Rogue, Louisiana, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 19, 2008 pours light amber, almost yellow with small white head..aroma light in malt and grassy hops...hints of subtle sweetness..flavor is sugary malt and earthy, bitter hops...not too good Ibrew2or3 (2734), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 12, 2008 Pours clear gold with thin white head. The aroma is sweet sugary malts, some biscuit, a little corn and mild floral hops. The taste is a cut of floral and spice hop bitterness accentuated by the initial burst of carbonation. Then the sweet and grainy malts enter in an attempt to reign in the hops. The hop bitterness control the flavor and take it to the finish and beyond with hints of sweetness. A bit on the hoppy side for the style.
