Kind of bland and flavorless. Malt doesn't really jump out at you and the hops are just kind of a background bitterness. Not the best fest bier.

Bottle. Pours deep amber with beige head. Nose is big and bready - doughy malt and yeast notes wafting right off. Flavor is simple, but quite good. Rich and full texture - a generous malt bill - flavors are a spectrum of caramel notes, beginning a little dry but then becoming dominated by sweet flavors with only a hint of hop relief on the palate right at the end- which I suppose is characteristic of the style as it is done in the US (and it is just better than average among US examples I have had), but pales in comparison with more elegant german examples.

Poured an amber color with a white head. Aroma was of toasted malt and sour metal. Flavor similar, weird metal tang that’s hard to get past.

Rated blind: This is a pretty decent beer. It’s slightly cloudy and orange w/ a foamy head. It has an earthy hop nose. It’s slightly sweet and heavy but does have a decent malt character to it, if slightly oxidized. Finishes slightly bitter w/ some light mineral notes. This would be great if it were a little dryer and they took care of the oxidation.

I poured it from the bottle into a glass. It pours an orange color with a nice white head. The aroma is underwhelming with hints of hay and malt. The taste is faint grass, bread, and caramel. It was smooth but thin. This was average and bordered on bland.

Faint aroma of caramel and some raisins. Nice orange amber color with tan head. Sweet malt up front. Mild bitterness next. Nice sweet caramel malt flavor. Somewhat watery mouth feel. Finish somewhat balanced, bitterness lingers a bit. Average.

Pretty okay oktoberfest, but nothing memorable. Nice balance, but its lack the smooth rich malty body of the best examples of the style.

Bottled@SBWF2015. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, sweet malts, bread and some herbal notes. Flavour is caramel, some sweet floral and fruity notes along with a nice crisp maltiness to it.

pours a slightly murky copper with a medium off white head. Malty aroma. Nice semi-sweet malty taste. Good carbonation and a somewhat dry finish. Good beer!

Bottle at SBWF2015. Copper color, not much head. Light bready and citrusy aroma. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Citrus, pale maltyness and some caramel in the flavor. American style clean Oktoberfestbier.

Bottled at SBWF. Clear amber, small head. Caramelly nose with some bread and grass. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded oily mouthfeel. Bready with notes of caramel. Fairly low bitterness.
