Pours copper with a thin white head. Aroma muted. Smells of tea, earthy, some bread. Tastes of caramel, some biscuits, more tea. Some medium umami notes on the finish. Low carbonation. A nice beer. A good Oktoberfest. My first from this brewery. I will try more.

Poured from a 12oz bottle. Bronze and caramel with a nice head. Grainy malty, and sweet bread with light earthy hops. On the lighter side with good carbonation. Smooth and easy drinking even on a warm day. Pretty good Oktoberfest beer, but not amazing.

Bottle, pours mahogany with just a ring of a tan head. Couldn't pick out much of an aroma. Taste of malt and yeast. Actually thought it tasted better as it warmed up a bit. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: grain and bread malts. Appearance: hazy, dark gold, medium, creamy, white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: very malty, bread and grains again Overall: OK, yet fails to excite. Pint at Big Brew, Morristown.

Bottle. Aroma is pretty generic. Taste is thin and more acidic and biting, with little flavor to back that up. It seems watery and tart. Not really anything Oktoberfest in my mind. Not bad, just boring.

"I agree about the slight apple in the aroma. This one started off pretty boring, but opened up nicely. Lots of carmel malt and a little back end hop bitterness. A little on the light side, but not bad. Surprisingly I’m kinda defending a Lakefront beer. Usually not a fan

Bottle - Amber pour with a ring of tan head. Nose is a bit milky, soured bready malt, with some lightly spicy grain and a hint of sweetness. Taste is the same--bready, lightly sour, a hint of spicy grain, and a little warmth on the finish. Medium-thin and well-carbonated. Not as bad as I would have guessed given the reviews, but certainly a notch or two below the German classics.

A thin, watery oktoberfest. If it were a bit bigger and richer of a beer, it might be quite nice, but it’s just too light in body and flavor to do much for me.

12oz Bottle shared. Pours a medium copper orang color with off white head. Not much lacing more oiliness that spider webs. Aroma is medium malt and medium sweetness. Flavor is more of the same. Nice mellow malty sweet flavor Minimal hop flavor. Pretty solid Oktoberfest beer.
