have to admit to drinking this out of the bottle on the boat, but much better than the grist one. actually not a bad beer with decent hops and good malt to go with it.

I like the idea of an organice beer and this one pulls it off quite well. You get a hazy amber pour with a mid range head. The aromatics consist of the nice floral/fruit hops and some slight malt. The beer shows a reasonable amount of bitterness and some grapefruit character. It drinks smooth and has a long finish.

Bottled. Orange colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is zest, slight yeastyness and bigtime hops. Flavour is bittery and very earthy. Long fruitish hoppy aftetaste.

clear, dark copper body with no head...it smelled like a backed-up drain mixed with fresh grass after rainfall...flavor was a sour malt mash that was slightly less offensive than its odious aroma...

copper with a small yellow head. watered down, bland aroma with a hint of hops. flavors are very subtle. caramel, bready malts with a bitter hop finish. lightly soapy and astringent. thin, watery palate. not that good.

Subtle nose of dried fruit, cereal, and flowers. Pours a cloudy amber with melon highlights. The mostly lasting tall off white head is tight and leaves light lace. Great balance here, kinda malty, decent acidity, and a crisp nutty & bisquity floral finish. The medium body is soft and extra creamy with a clean feel to the finish.

Very thin and watery on the palate. Didn’t have a lot of malty depth for an ESB. Very light toasty flavor with a medium hop finish. This beer just didn’t have a great flavor balance, I didn’t find the malts toasty and earthy enough, sided more with a fruity, almost apple flavor. The hops were lackluster and weren’t very floral.
