You get a hazy amber pour with a mid range head. The aromatics consist of the nice floral/fruit hops and some slight malt. The beer shows a reasonable amount of bitterness and some grapefruit character. It drinks smooth and has a long finish. omhper (12171), Stockholm, Sweden

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Jun 23, 2007 Subtle nose of dried fruit, cereal, and flowers. Pours a cloudy amber with melon highlights. The mostly lasting tall off white head is tight and leaves light lace. Great balance here, kinda malty, decent acidity, and a crisp nutty & bisquity floral finish. The medium body is soft and extra creamy with a clean feel to the finish. beerinmarch (2781), Alabama, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 20, 2007 Very thin and watery on the palate. Didn’t have a lot of malty depth for an ESB. Very light toasty flavor with a medium hop finish. This beer just didn’t have a great flavor balance, I didn’t find the malts toasty and earthy enough, sided more with a fruity, almost apple flavor. The hops were lackluster and weren’t very floral.
