Copper color, slight head. A bit of sweetness in the aroma. Expected a more bitter hoppy taste. The flavor did have depth - definitely was pleasant tasting. Not as lively has I like - I go for a more carbonated brew. This was my first ESB - probably wouldn’t buy a six-pack of this but will try another bottle down the road.

Brownish amber appearance, not too carbonated. Somewhat weak aroma. Quite hoppy flavor. Very easy going down. A good beer, just not an especially aromatic one.

Heads up but quickly disappears. Not really bitter of course, but actually pretty nice. Malty for sure, but begins in a non-gross way. A pleasant surprise that stays consistent throughout.

12 oz bottle. Clear copper color with bubbly off white head, Aroma is a combination of light sprucy hops and malty caramel. Pleasant cereal grain flavor accented by sprucy hop flavor and hop bitterness that lasts throughout and lingers. Pretty good.

12 oz bottle. Cloudy orange-copper beer, thin white head. Smelly diacetyl aroma, metallic and candy sweet. Sweet caramel with loads of rotten fruit throughout. Flavour is sour along with all of the aforementioned nastiness. Not good.

(04.29.06) On tap at Firkin’s, Libertyville, IL. Poured hazy amber with large white head. Soft carbonation. Spice and sweet malt aroma. Medium bodied ale that starts dry with malt, spice, and toffee flavors. Finished dry with light hop bitterness. A very good mild drinkable bitter that goes well with food.

I was bored with this beer. Not much to say except it was lacking in all areas. Very watered down without much umph. This organic ESB needs to be beefed up.

Bottle poured a clear amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of burnt carmel, abit of fruitiness and a hint of citrus. Palate was medium bodied. Flavors of burnt carmel, brown sugar and light fruitiness with a smooth slightly bitter finish.
