Not bad, decent session beer. Maybe a little light for the style, and a slightly metallic up front, but gives way to a fairly smooth and creamy beer with reasonable maltiness and a clean finish.,

Bottle - Grains and caramel. Clear amber with an off white foamy head. Nice malty flavors, with some light caramel and bitterness. Very clean finish, with next to no residual bitterness. A superbly sessionable beer.

I donít know if this beer is worthy of the title E.S.B. but at least itís decent. It pours a cloudy dark amber color with a slight scent of wheat. Has a good strong wheat flavor with a slight bitter finish to it. Drinks rather smooth and is quite different from the taste of many other of Lakefrontís beers.

a clear fresh looking beer of a tan amber color. Sweet malt with caramel and slight fruitiness smell. Sweet taste with touch of tin and butter taste. A lighter crisper version of ESB.

12 oz bottle served in pint glass poured a hazy amber/copper color capped by a thin off-white head with poor retention. Smells fruity, a bit yeasty, and like caramel malt. The taste is dominated by caramel malt. Rather even sweet/bitter balance; a bit sweet for an ESB. Very slight metallic off-taste. Medium/light body with low carbonation.
O: A disappointing offering from a superior brewery

Tap at the Watering Hole. Amber coloured, golden creamy head. Aroma nice maltiness, English ale smell unsurprisingly, slight citrus hops. Taste ok, malty, bit of bitterness, bready. Not really my favourite style, but not bad.

12oz bottle, that I believe has been sitting around for a good while. Orange-amber color, lots of particles suspended in the body. Little bubbly off-white head, leaves some lace. Lightly musty malt nose. Fruity earthy hop flavor, and caramel malt. More sweet taste, just a lighter bitter. Fine, drinkable, OK. But a bit boring.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Deep amber/orange color with off-white medium head. Sweet malt scent with caramel, butterscotch & cookie dough. Initially sweet up front with mild floral hopping, mineraly, medium bitterness. Quite British tasting. A decent session beer but noting really jumps out at you.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Aroma is grainy, grassy and a little funky. Rusty orange color is average for bitters. Flavor is slightly bitter, also seems infected. I hate to rate a beer in this circumstance, but I feel like they might all be this way.

Kinda flat to be honest. Bitterness is there with hoppy and floral notes. Thin quickly dissipating head. Just eh.
