12oz bottle from BOTW. Copper pour with a ring of white. Aroma is malty but with a touch of tingling bitterness. Flavor has more of the bitterness but eh, this comes across as flat and disappointing.

Bottle... Clear deep amber ale with a small, fizzy, off-white head. Malty, phenolic aroma and flavor. Medicinal with notes of bandage and toffee. Peppery hops. Medium-bodied with intermediate carbonation. Mildly sweet, medicinal finish

not a bad beer, has a balanced hop malt mix, with a touch of caramel, and some slight hops, slight caramel aroma.

Bottle at Ecco restaurant, Atlanta. Had just read an article about organic beer that included this one so was delighted to find it here. Unfortunately it tasted of butterscotch. Really, do they have no quality control? It wasnt as spoiled as some of the samples reviewed here but it was definitely not the flavor the brewer intended. Its diacetyl and as strong as I have had in a beer recently. Yuck.

Nutty, slightly spicy, and malty nose. Opaque gold/amber color, small head. Caramelized grass sweetness, noticeable bitterness. Good carbonation, lighter bodied, but mouth feel is more substantial than this would suggest. Finish is bright, rich, but fairly clean. Nothing jumps out as a massive characteristic, but it is a tasty well put together beer.

Bottled Aug week 4. Poured amber with an off-white head that settles to a ring. Aromas of grain, hops, caramel, and a slight hint of vinegar. The flavor found caramel, grain, and a hoppy background. Medium body, sweet, slightly musty.

Copper coloured body with orange tints and a thinnish off-white head. Aroma of older hops, along with curacao, coriander seed and a plentiful amount of malt. Medium to Light-bodied; Hops up front in the taste with a bit of a malt kick, then followed by oranges and some sugars. Aftertaste is very bland and not very strong at all - a bit of the hops showing through, but not much. Overall, not a good showing of an ESB - more english hops needed and much more character throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Merchant’s in Dearborn, Michigan on 06-November-2006.

Pours cloudy copper colour with off white head. Caramel aroma. Sweet caramel flavor with some citrus and a mild bitter finish. Medium body with average carbonation.
