Thin to medium body with near creamy carbonation. The flavor is more malty than hoppy. Definitely caramel, but the hop is hard to pin down. Somewhat spicy, perhaps floral. The finish is less than dry, but there is enough hop to balance. Fits the ESB style, but perhaps the hop aromas are a bit lacking. Decent stuff. SilkTork (4195), Rochester, Kent, England

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 12, 2004 A lighter amber coloring with a large creamy white head. Aroma is earthy malts with some floral notes. The taste has a syrupy sweet consistency with little in the way of balancing bittering hops. Also a note of bubblegum. Not one of the better bitters I have had. However, I can appreciate that this is organic. I assume they chose an ESB because of the lower hopping rate. Thanks Secret Santa. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 11, 2006 Bottle. Orange amber body. Small white head. Nose is light caramel, muted hops, and some citrus fruits. Taste reveals a bit more citrus notes (orange mostly), chewy malts, caramel, and some candyish notes. Light spicy hops are ever present as well. Body is medium with a light carbonation tingle to it. Finishes with more citrus, caramel, sweet malts, light cake, and spicy hops. joeycapps (1466), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada
