Poured a nice orangish amber with light head and lacing. Nutmeg spices and sweet malts predominated the nose. Taste was very smooth with a nice mix of malt, spices, pumpkin with a light to moderate hop finish. Mouth was good. Overall, likely the best pumpkin brew I have tasted.

12 oz. bottle, thanks to Jason. Pours orangish brown, with a small, beige ring. Strong biscuit dough and pumpkin spice, with some good actual pumpkin aromas. Sweet and malty, light savory spice, but no bitterness to speak of. Light to medium body, creamy, smooth, and easy. This is a simple and straightforward pumpkin beer, but solid, well made, and delicious.

Poured into a pint glass. 3.0 A: Murky peach color. Two fingers of frothy off-white head. Retention is below average and no lacing is left. 3.25 S: Mild pumpkin spices with nutmeg and allspice most prominent. Light caramel and toastiness. Not really anything else going on. It’s pretty tame, but it’s not bad. 3.25 T: Tastes like the nose. Mild spices with notes of caramel and toastiness. Not a lot of flavor, but enough to make it a decent enough brew. 3.0 M: Lighter body. Good moderate carbonation. A touch watery and lacking creaminess. 3.0 D: Tame but decent. ★ 584 characters DavoleBomb, Nov 29, 2015

Somewhat watery barely tasted the pumpkin. Soft thin white head quickly dissipated. Nothing special here

Bottle left at my house. Pours a clear orange color. White head. Aromas of pumpkin spices. Underlying beer is clean and crisp. A fairly enjoyable pumpkin beer.

DATE TASTED: November 4, 2015 ... GLASSWARE: Schneider Edel-Weisse pokal... OCCASION: enjoying the prelude to Teachers’ Convention weekend... APPEARANCE: bright orange-amber body with minimal effervescence; clear throughout; thin, dissipating white head that subsides to minimal run of bubbles akin to iced tea... AROMA: cinnamon and nutmeg to start, with the hint of syrup and sweet malts at second scent; some evergreen spruce makes for an air freshener experience... PALATE: surprisingly vibrant, with an initial shiver to the throat; upon second sip, the mouthfeel mellows to a light-bodied, slightly textured presence--not the feel of pumpkin pie, label be damned,... TASTE: a lager, through and through, with slight suggestions of the odd yet intriguing aroma; mostly wet malty base with some phenolic yeasts...again, not exactly pumpkin pie... OVERALL: not the experience that other Lakefront brews offer--but not by much...an otherwise average attempt at a flavorful seasonal...

Bottle at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) Pours a clear pale amber colour with no head. Aroma of pumpkin, some spices, maybe cinnamon and subtle grain. Taste of pumpkin, spice, some cinnamon, a little orange, sugar and grain. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A spicy bitterness in the finish. It’s does what it says on the bottle. Pumpkin lager with real pumpkin & spices. Decent but not sessionable.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, best before 12/25/2015. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy orange/amber color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. light spotty lacing clings down the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, ginger, brown sugar, toasted bread, and herbal/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of pumpkin/spices and dark/bready malt notes; with decent strength. Taste of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, ginger, brown sugar, toasted bread, and herbal/toasted earthiness. Light herbal/spice bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, ginger, brown sugar, toasted bread, and herbal/toasted earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Good balance and solid robustness of pumpkin/spices and dark/bready malt flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness after the finish; and very clean on lager flavors with zero yeast ester notes present. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, and lightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a good pumpkin lager style. All around good balance and solid robustness of pumpkin/spices and dark/bready malt flavors; and very smooth, crisp, and clean to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.
