COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pumpkin Lager is brewed with pumpkins in the mash, spices added during the boil, and lightly hopped. The rich specialty grains and lager fermentation combine to produce the taste and the texture of pumpkin pie.

Pours very clear orange with a whispy head that goes away quickly. It is very bubbly. The smell (and taste) is of pumpkin pie and cinamon. Overall I think it is a solid tasting beer, for me the turnoff (a little one at that) is that it is very thin on the palate. I just wish it had a little more mouthfeel. Overall it is a solid beer from one of my favorite breweries.

This beer is the great pumpkin taste with a nice medium look and a fall smell to boot.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle dated 08/14/14. Sampled 6 months later so that should be noted. Typical pumpkin orange pour with a quick-lasting head. a little milky. Bright vibrant aroma of sweetness, pumpkin spice, apply and other juicy fruits. Medium body. The spices creep up in the flavor more than I expected along with a juicy fruitiness that overpowers any pumpkin spices that are there. Not sure how to rate this one. It doesn’t really fit the style entirely but it does have an interesting character.

Pours a slightly cloudy light orange with a white head with little lacing. The nose is light spice. The taste is spice with no bitterness apart from the spice. The body is lager, which is a welcome change from the pumpkin ales.

bottle - This is a decent pumpkin beer with some good spice character. I did pick up some grainy alcohol in the flavor which I didn’t expect at only 5.4% but it wasn’t too bad. Light to medium body. Mildly sweet.

36cl, no mention of ABV, American brew, with pumpkins, from De Hopduvel Gent, not complex brew, malty/spicy and slightly sweet, yet not balanced, cloudy, small head, nothing special

Bottle. Lacking in aroma, but makes up it with a very smooth feeling. Not much in flavor, but hints of apple and spice. Really nothing "pumpkin" about it, but that’s a good thing if you don’t really get into "pumpkin" flavored brews. Not very distinctive, but an easy to drink, smooth, unoffensive fall lager.

Pours light gold into a shaker. Bright white head with medium retention recedes leaving no lacing. Sour pumpkin and cinnamon aromas. Dry with nutmeg, mild vegetal pumpkin and cinnamon front to back.

Pours a lighter copper color with off-white head. Pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, caramel malt, and a light sweetness on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a pumpkin pie spice note. Smooth and easy drinking.

Aroma of light pumpkin spices, potpourri... Extremely thin mouthfeel, flavor of light malts, apple juice, cinnamon... Bland finish... Unexciting ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the 69th Annual Sister Bay, WI. Fall Fest, and dispensed to a fest mug that may have been orange, but seemed to display an orangey/gold color, with off white head froth, and some wavy lacing. The nose was light cookie, subtle pumpkin puree, and nice pie spicing, with a more pronounced cinnamon & clove scent. Light bodied, well carbonated, and hop bitterness that was on the low side. Decent enough fest faire.
