COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pumpkin Lager is brewed with pumpkins in the mash, spices added during the boil, and lightly hopped. The rich specialty grains and lager fermentation combine to produce the taste and the texture of pumpkin pie.

Pretty solid beer, I would say that it has more of the spiciness that is associated with Pumpkin pie, than the actual pumpkin flavor, kind of a spicy sweet flavor, no real hops to speak of, good but not really a style that I would repeat much

strong scent of nutmeg, and some cinnamon. Also a scent of chai that lingers. taste is of pumpkin and the chai taste comes through again with some nutmeg and a little citrus. finish is smooth with a spice after taste. I would probably purchase this again.

This pumpkin is more spice than pumpkin, but it is pretty damn tasty. It's a good seasonal. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from craft beer outlet. Pours a clear copper color, with some spices on the nose. Tastes of ginger and nutmeg, but not so much pumpkin. Decent.

Nice golden orange color. A good size head that dissipates quickly enough to question whether it was even there or not. Minor retention, but decent lacing. Spices hit the olfactory sense with a hammer. Cinnamon, nutmeg and clove dominate. Smells like a fresh pumpkin pie. Sadly, the taste does not compare to the smell. All of the elements are there, they are just subdued to the point of blurring. If anything, Iíd say that this beer is over-balanced. I can tell that there are multiple things going on in here. I just canít pick them out and seperate them from one another. Thereís too much overlap. This is the taste of "bleah!". Once again, this beer is disappointing to me. The body is weak and lifeless. Nothing to excite me. Just thin and watery. Here is a time that a beer started off very promising and couldnít quite pull it off, in the end. I wanted this to be so much more. Iím not in a hurry to have another one.

On tap at Clark St. Ale House, Chicago. Definitely tasted the pumpkin flavor, although the overall body is very light. I wish it had a little more malt to beef up the beer-- I guess itís just a light lager with pumpkin flavor.

Pours a hazy orange with a tiny white head yet has that constant carbonation like a glass of Sprite. Kind of an odd smell to it. pumpkin type spices, maybe cinnamon or apple pie even a bad potpourri smell. something very sweet and spicy about the aroma. Flavor is not that great, lots of nutmeg/ginger flavors. I may be biased ícause Iím not a fan of ginger. Pumpkin, herbal flavors. Slight sweetness .Light body, thin mouthfeel, long finish taste stick with you but I donít like it very much. Go try Dogfish Punkiní Ale if you want a good pumpkin flavored beer.

This beer is ok. Some pumpkin in the aroma. Copper color. Flavor of sweet citrus and some spice. Little pumpkin. A bit astringent as it finishes. Good not great.

orange brown body has no head. The aroma is spicy with cinnamon and cloves. The flavor has a lot of cloves and a bit of pumpkin with a bit of honey.

12 oz bottle. Pours a dark gold, with a decent off-white head. Lots of tiny little bits of stuff floating about. No lacing. Aroma is fairly nasty...like a bad aftershave. You can discern some spice, but whatever it is, it isn’t pleasing. Flavor is fairly flat, with some pumpkin (fresh pumpkin not pumpkin pie), maybe a bit of cinnamon, and some pepper. Palate is light-medium body, with a bit of spritz. Finishes slightly bitter and dry. Not particularly refreshing. Overall this was an interesting beer, but a disappointment for me.
