COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pumpkin Lager is brewed with pumpkins in the mash, spices added during the boil, and lightly hopped. The rich specialty grains and lager fermentation combine to produce the taste and the texture of pumpkin pie.

Nice golden color, small white head that had a short hang time then faded leaving little behind. The aroma is the usual pumpkin spice with a bit of a pumpkiny smell some maltiness but faint and little more then that. The flavor was okay with a decent spicy side coming through right away some faint hints at pumpkin and a bit of some malt but mostly there is just spice and little else. It’s kind of hum drum but it’s also worth trying atleast once.

This is OK, but I’ve had mixed results despite multiple attempts at trying it. Weaker taste than I want for what it is. Weaker color than I want. Spicy, and a little yeasty, and there is a little pumpkin, but just not that great. Would only drink one.

from a 12 oz. bottle, little head and very little carbonation. copper color, a bit acidic? tasts of pumpkin. not bad, drinkable in moderation.

[Bottle] Pours slightly hazy amber with a very small white head. Aroma is nice--spices and pumpkin with a little bit of grain. The spices (mainly clove and cinnamon) are also evident in the taste, but the pumpkin is not as much. The grains are more noticeable in the taste and especially in the finish. Medium mouthfeel. Not the best pumpkin beer I’ve had, really went downhill after the aroma.

slightly cloudy orange with some floaters under a small white head. heavily spiced(cinnamon, nutmeg, clove) pumpkin aroma. flavors are the same. light bodied. flavors are less potent than the nice aroma.

decent, it has some very good points with some definitive flavors of pumpkins, but its a tad on the tart side at the end of the finish, malts are good with a bit of caramel, definitely a seasonal

Pours yellow-orange and clear. Very little head. Strong pumpkin aroma, with some nutmeg, clove, and brown sugar thrown in. Taste is a bit of pumpkin, which doesn’t hold up very well against the spices, particularly the nutmeg. Not bad, but I wouldn’t say it reminds me of pumpkin pie so much. Not sweet, by the way.

Nice bold aroma of sweet spices, raisins, cinnamon and brown sugar. Clear orange hued amber with a white head, dissipates quickly. Heavy sweet taste up front. Heavier sugar tones, but some sweet malty tones in the background. Finishes with a cough syrup type bite, mixture of molasses and bitter hops. Medium finish, average carbonation. Average.

Not a giant fan of this pumpkin beer. The pumpkin flavor itself is nice. Not all that chemically. The spice, especially the nutmeg flavor is overwhelming though. Sickening to finish.

wonderful aroma of nutmeg and cinnamon. orange body with a fair amount of almond colored head. lots of spice to the taste; cinnamon and nutmeg. other than being spicy this beer kind of flattens out and there is not much there. the finish allows you to believe that you just had a mouthful of warm pumpkin pie.
