3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber from Malt & Vine. 7.2% Pours amber with a foamy 3 finger beige head. Aroma of slightly earthy roast malt. Med body. Flavor is malty with some earthy bitterness. Keeps oscillating sweet/not sweet. With a little time my mouth starts to pucker. Good drink, not sure it’s spot on for style.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pour is a light brown with a small white head. Aroma is a decent caramel malt. Flavor is again more caramel malt with some earthy tones. Finish is sweet and grainy. This is a BDG? More of an English bitter. Still it does have a few things going for it but its not a good rep of the style

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at Sugar Maple tasting. Pours copper/orange with small OW head. Aroma with hints of citrus, caramel malt, and some understated floral notes. Flavor similar with abundant grassy notes and crisp finish. No EtOH to speak of. It was just OK for me; I don’t think I would seek this out.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Poured a clear dark orange color. The head was tall of off white with good retention and lacing. Smelled of toffee, raisin, dark grape, and a dash of cinnamon. Medium bodied and delicately sweet. Fresh cereal grain flavor masked by spices, a splash of red wine, and rum soaked pear. Without knowing anything about the style or where it was brewed, my wife summed it up as "kind of a fruity Miller Lite".

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Lakefront 88 Sampler Pack - $19.99 at Olde Crabapple Bottle Shoppe in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Appearance: Dispenses a hazed, amber-tan body with a large, off-white head.
Smell: Sweetish scent of varied fruit juices given a little sip of alcohol from the liquor cabinet. Also, a small whiff of sourdough yeast and ground spice.
Taste: Sliced sourdough bread and sugar cookies brushed with sweet caramel and honey and generously spritzed with peach juice and apple cider. Earthy, lightly spicy hops with a small hint of bitterness. Very, very faintly sourish midway and with a pinch of cinnamon approaching the sweetish, fruity finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Passable as a Bière de Garde, but makes for a solid springtime refresher.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
August apricot amber color with lush, off-white head. The nose is of sterile, anesthetized Belgian yeast. and muted European hops. Muted hops across and clean yeasty palate with peach and other peripheral estery fruits. Feint white bread character. This one tastes a bit green and I get the impression that this is well-positioned to benefit considerably from aging. The malts are wound really tight--with time, they should unwind into more complexity.
