This is a bomber from the 2010 vintage, drank in March, 2011. A light copper almost amber colored body with a dense yellowish khaki head. The nose is malty dough with some strawberries. There are also some earthy peanuts. The taste is peanuts and dough. There is also a little bit of spice like sweet ginger bread.

Shaker pint draft at the Coquette Cafe in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Pour is a hazed orange golden, with a smallish off white head. Aroma is floral, clove, some sweet honey. Taste is the sweet honey malt dominant up front, followed closely by a dry floral mineral earthiness. Palate is medium bodied, lower carboantion level. This hits the style well, though I am not a huge BdG guy. Regardless, tasty. I was surprised to learn this is a draft special for the Coquette. Given that fact, I was surprised they didn’t have a bit better glassware choice for the beer.

A cloudy orange beer with a little head. The smell is light hops and citrus with a little malt. I tasted molasses, but it was fruity and refreshing. A great beer to enjoy at the lovely beer garden at Lakefront.

Bottle pours hazy orange-gold with a white head. Aroma shows sweet grain, bubblegum, lemongrass, and a touch of funk. Flavor shows the same with additional notes of saltine crackers and dough. Overall body is light to moderate and somewhat astringent.

Hazy orange-yellow pour with a white head. Stale grain aroma with sweaty funk. Sweet flavorless water. Skunky with a bitter finish.

Murky light orange-amber with a bubbly white head, lightly grainy. Lightly earthy, bubblegum, a bit overly sweet. Flavor some bitterness to hit the jaw, light yeast and dough. A bit overcarbonated, harsh grainy finish though a bit of spice saves the finish.
