| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 22, 2007 Bottle. Pours a coppery color and supports a one-finger khaki head that is not going away. Aromas are of sweet malt and floral hops with a little bit of a spicy edge to it. Flavor is decidedly malt heavy... a nice caramel presence with a thick mouthfeel and a bit of a creamy contexture. Hops are present and help round out the finish, but are secondary to the malty body. Very nicely balanced. kkearn (1016), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
