Smell is roasty, albeit muted. Taste is also that of roasted coffee and a tad bit of chocolate, pretty light overall, though. Fairly drinkable, but nothing special.

Nothing complicated - traditional Stout flavors and aromas of chocolate, coffee, and a touch of vanilla, and a mildly bitter finish. But seemingly well made and very tasty. I liked this one.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Degarth. Pours completely black and opaque with a handsome, tall, dense light brown head leaving some lacework. Tart but also burned aroma. Rather thin in body with very burned, ashy malt notes. The finish is dry. Not bad. 080707

Nice chocolate flavor. Not the greatest beer I’ve ever had, but perfectly refreshing. Very good aroma, and a good pour with good head.

Bottle. Average creamy light brown head that mostly lasted. Excellent lacework was displayed. Black color. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, toasted malty notes. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation and light dry texture. Moderated sweet flavor with light bitter notes. Sweet coffee like finish.

From 12 oz bottle. Pours black with a huge creamy light brown head. Thick malty and liqourice aroma. Smoked flavour with a rather thin body. Smoked, dry and slight sour finish.

not worth much at all.... hardly any aroma and very carbonated on the palate.... kinda tangy or sour. just not that good.... probably the worst stout I’ve ever had.

The aroma has coffee, heavily toasted malt, and chocolate. The appearance is dark red/brown with a creamy tan head. The flavor is like the aroma with the addition of almonds. The palate is just a wee bit thin for the style but still within acceptable limits. The finish is dry and slightly acidic. I can’t find anything wrong with it but it’s just not world class; very Decent.
