Bockyhorsey (2487), Mesa, Arizona, USA Apr 25, 2008 12oz bottle. Aroma of roast and somky aroma like after a smoldring campfire. Black body dark chcolate head. Flavor was sweet and had a carbination cols with a hint of chocolate. Alright on the palate more like a porter to me than a stout. rustychiles (997), Mesa, Arizona, USA Apr 21, 2008 Pours a dark brown with a medium frothy brown head. Aroma of roasted barley, coffee and malts. Flavor is coffee, chocolate and malt. Has a good amount of flavor considering the low alcohol content. Not too shabby of a stout. sunevdj (1765), Copenhagen OE, Denmark Apr 19, 2008 On tap at the brewery. Pours a very dark brown with a small tanned head. Slightly sweet with aromas of toeasted malts and a hint of coffee. Coocies in the backbone. Hint of toothpaste? Burnt dry finish. Collint (452), Sylva, North Carolina, USA Apr 14, 2008 Bottle, pours a black with a tan head. Aroma is sweet malt with roast. Very light stout, maybee becuase it is low alcohol. Flavor finishes in cocoa. Kinda watered down. decent nothing special BigBen2120 (688), Derry, New Hampshire, USA Mar 23, 2008 12oz bottle from The Lighthouse in Manchester. Pours an opaque black body with a half inch of tan head. Smells roasty, with hints of coffee, chocolate, and a suggestion of date. Tastes roasty - baker’s chocolate and coffee along with nut toward the finish. Medium to full mouthfeel with moderate carbonation that helps keep this an easy drinker. One of the tastiest dry stouts I’ve had thus far. I’m impressed. nuplastikk (1159), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Mar 22, 2008 12oz bottle. Deep brown-black color. Roasty, pleasant aroma. Sweet and pungent flavor for a stout, with an odd sour taste overpowering the chocolate richness. I’m not exactly a style Nazi, but this one really doesn’t taste right to me for a Stout. HighGravity (890), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Mar 18, 2008 (Bottled WK2 Feb 2008) A nice everyday stout that satisfies on most levels. It is nice and lightish in body and the alcohol level seems pretty low also. Quick and highly drinkable without getting too bitter with roasted barley. aracauna (2357), Georgia, USA Mar 16, 2008 Pours a very dark black with a very small head. The aroma has a nice roast and the flavor puts up a nice bit of anise. This is a bit like eating a spiced molasses cookie. Not a bad little stout.
