| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 25, 2007 Bottle. Pours a hazy golden yeller with a fluffy white head. Nose is wheat and citrus. Flavor is sour lemons, and spice with some banana. Nice, almost creamy mouthfeel. Loved the sour/tart sensation of this predominantly warm weather quencher although I would have another in front of a warm fireplace as well. Thanks to lewis13 for the bottle. sfhc21 (74), Midlothian, Texas, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 21, 2007 Bottle. A nice offering from Lakefront. Nice to see a domestic microbrew offering of this wonderful beer style. Very nice color -- nailed the pale yellow/near white of the style. Flavors of grain, slight clove, and citrus. Good balance with some alcohol on the finish but not too much. A nice session beer. Lacks in complexity or texture from the real thing (Hoegaarden) but a great effort and a nice result from Lakefront. cbkschubert (1967), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Apr 1, 2007 I had this during a visit to the brewery, where it was described as "like Blue Moon," which thankfully it was not. It was not all that sweet, but was very clovey in taste with a somewhat disturbing aroma. All-in-all, I’m not a fan.
Appearance was a pale cloudy with one finger of head. Aroma was bad with no spice and a stale corn smell covered in sweetness. Taste was very clovey, and OK. Mouthfeel was also a little flat. valpoaj (362), Valparaiso, Indiana, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 27, 2007 Very cloudy brew with lots of particulates. Foamy white head holds its own for a while before retracting. Bready aroma is nothing special, thought not annoying. Flavor is very different...initially hits with an orangey flavor, then turns somewhat watery, which was frustrating. However, this leads into a spicy aftertaste which lingers for a while. Very easy drinking, and although somewhat odd, this was a pleasant beer dwyerpg (2529), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 19, 2007 Smells kind of like cereal with some coriander but which one I can’t say. Looks very nice, cloudy and with a full head. Head is pretty spicy and better than some Belgian wits. This is really a surprise of a nice beer. A little bite to it and definitely easy to drink. Could just a little bit more substance in the finish, but quite downable.
