COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wisconsinite: the most Wisconsin beer ever! Made with 100% Wisconsin-grown malted barley, wheat, and hops, including a unique, first-of-its-kind, never before fermented, indigenous Wisconsin yeast strain. It pours a hazy, unfiltered, straw color with a fine white head. The mild clove, banana, and citrus aromas from the Wisconsin yeast go well with the malty sweetness and fresh baked wheat bread flavors. With its light body and lively effervescence, Wisconsinite is a refreshing summer session beer.

[Bottle] Clear yellow pour with little head but decent lacing on the glass. I was surprised to see no yeast/sediment at all in the bottle considering this beer is billed as unfiltered. Lemon peel and sweet wheat malts in the nose. Light fruits, wheat malt and refreshing citrus notes linger throughout the taste. No clove or banana detectable. Good body and low carbonation for the style. I would classify this as a good American Wheat.

Pours a very cloudy bright yellow with nice light white head. Banana, clove, wheat, and citrus come through on the nose and follow onto the palate. Unfiltered, so you get a good amount of chewiness on this for a great mouthfeel. One of my favorite Wisconsin summer beers. Very sessionable.

This pours a clear, golden yellow color with a fizzy, off-white head. The aroma is full of banana, yeast, and clove tones. The taste is sweet and fizzy with a decent amount of yeasty banana flavor. This is very well-made and quiet flavorful for the style. Probably one of the best offerings from Lakefront.

Hazy deep yellow pour with a small white head. Nice full clove, banana, and wheat in the aroma and taste. Good carbonation level - mildly lively. Body is like a Tripel rich and thick and sweet. Decent brew.

Almost a "red" wheat beer. Great overall appearance and taste. Malt forward with enough hops to make it work.
