Aroma is lemons, bananas and a different/unique spiciness. The flavor is bananas, lemons, an undercurrent of spice fruit and mix of sweetness and tartness in the finish.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, clear orange pour with no head, not a great looking beer, looks like apple juice. Aroma has notes of nice clove, banana, bubblegum, slight hints of honey, some grass, yeast and spice, dry biscuit and cracker. Taste is sweet biscuit and bread, some slight clove, banana bread, spicy and fizzy acid notes, slight grass but fairly weak at the end.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle - Hazy light amber pour with a big creamy white head. Nose isnít as fruity as I like my hefes, and itís got an odd plastic note. Thereís some muted banana and spicing here, but a lot of mineral water notes too. Taste is dialed back too--like a watered-down hefe. All the right flavors are there, but a mineral sheen covers them all up, drying them out and making them less bold. Pretty jacked-up carbonation, but itís not too biting. At 4.2% I wanted to like this a lot, but Iím not willing to sacrifice the flavor for the alcohol. Would rather just buy Dancing Man.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A very drinkable weiss beer. The yeast is really the star here, giving the beer a bread aroma and the hazy appearance. Great for a hot summer day in Wisconsin.
Aroma: bread, earthy, dough
Appearance: golden, hazy
Taste: light sweetness, lightly bitter
Palate: light body, fizzy

On tap at the Sugar Maple. Hazy blonde in color. Yeasty aroma, but low in ester characteristics and spice, mild fruity citrus and wheat malt. Flavor is a moderate citrus and wheat, again, lacking the banana/apple/clove flavors. Dry, yeasty, citrus finish.
