This beer is the bomb! Cheap, drinkable, refundable bottles; its got it all! Golden, hoppy, sweet, grand. With the money I saved from buying this beer, I bought a Maseratti. Jealous? I sold the Maseratti and bought a truck full of good beer. On a side note, I swam in a bathtub full of this stuff on my last birthday.

The is the best brand under the Lakeport label. I was pleasently surprised by this "value brand". I’d say it definitly worth a try.

Peopl tend to shy away from a nice solid lakeport. i dont mind getting a litte tipsy off of this stuff. Too many refined palettes for micros on this site. Give this decent pilsner the respect it deserves. Enjoy! and remember GREAT BEER, FAIR PRICES!

UPDATED: JUN 11, 2005 Cheap beer, only a buck a bottle. It is what it is, a budget-priced alternative to Labatt Blue. Not great, by any means, but not *that* bad. (341mL bottle)

First of all, this is the cheapest beer available in Canada (I think). But for such a cheap beer it’s surprisingly drinkable. It’s smooth yet has a convincing flavour. And it doesn’t give me a headache.

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2007 Bottle. A buck a beer. Not bad in any sense. Way better then Laker. Drinkable but not something to start the night with.

This beer has decent flavour and I do enjoy sitting back and having a lakeport once in a while

Sweet smell, golden, fluffy head. A little bitterness, some malt flavour, good carbonation, crisp. Fair.

Canned(950ml). -just an ordinary pilsener, gold color, refreshing, my friend bought this beer in giant can(950ml)

Very pale golden yellow with a surpisingly good fluffy white head. Grassy cereal aroma. Flavour is very light, grains with a vague note of hoppy bitterness that manages to pick up steam as the glass goes on. Average palate. Boring but inoffensive. If your going to drink mainstream, it might as well be cheaper I guess!
