Dont let the Strong word decieve you. Its not an alcohol taste beer. Very pleasing to the palate...full body. I would pay a premium price for this beer...glad I dont have to.

Something decent from Lakeport. I was surprised, how good it was for a value brew. More smooth then some of thier other offerings.

As far as strong beers go, very cheap, reminds me of a watered down black ice. Very chuggable, very drinkable, a nice cheap alternative.

The first few sips are above average; the beer becomes a sweet/sourish version of Double Diamond with nice carbonation and a full body. I enjoy amber coloured beers with sour fruit/grape aromas.

Bottle (341ml). Poured hazy light gold with a white soapy head. Aroma’s not bad - actual malt, not too vegetal, some stale hops, a little metallic and sugary though, and sours on warming. More like corn syrup than corn mash. Taste is sweet but not too harsh, some metallic hoppy bitterness, not good but I won’t pour it off, surprisingly. Mouthfeel is carbonated and yes, I can taste the alcohol. Who’d have thought it - a drinkable Lakeport!

Easy drinking taste for a 5.9%. Lots of corn and hops. Taste can be very stale at times, overall a good value buy if your going lakeport.

Mild sweet scent, golden, pours a big head. Malts and some bitterness. Sweetish, good tongue tingle. Ordinary. Hamilton’s my Hometown, would’ve liked to rate this higher but.........

Bottle from the LCBO. Pale bright golden with a medium white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is not unpleasant - mild malt, perhaps a bit of sweet corn, hell, even a hint of hops! Mouthfeel is a bit sticky, but not bad. Flavour - holy crap, is that sweet! Like someone took a mediocre pale lager and laced it with corn syrup. Which is sort of how this stuff is made, I guess. Not my drink of choice, but those looking for a cheap buzz could do much worse...
