2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 HeistAlmighty (546) - Saint John, New Brunswick, CANADA - FEB 4, 2012
341ml bottle. Aroma is light malt, honey and a little yeast. Weak, but not unpleasant. Poured a rich brass, but no head or lacing. Taste was rather thin, some lager malt and honey. Palate was underwhelming . Overall, not bad for the price but that’s all it had going for it. Drank it with a meal, could not see sessioning it. Easy drinking, but too watery.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Metalchopz (1429) - Quebec, CANADA - OCT 11, 2011
Originally rated February 2006. This new one pours a golden-amber colour with a white head that does not stay long. The lacing left is small, but a coating tops the brew. Good, over-average carbonation. The nose is sweet with honey and corn. Sticky and lingering mouthfeel. The taste of apples is there, with some slight bitterness and a smooth finish. Not much honey, nor sweetness in the flavours. Corn is not really there either. Not a horrible brew, but the lingering aftertaste is not really an incentive to have this one again.

not horrible, just not good. its one of the better options if thats all you can afford. the honey is slightly evident but it still has that sharp skunky taste that most cheap Ontario beers have.

Sweet malt nose, golden, small white head. Sweet malt taste, lemon gummy bears. Almost cloying. about what I expected.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 mds (2119) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 15, 2007
Bottle.
Dark gold with a small white ring of head. Smells of reasonable toast and honey, actually decent. Sweet, sticky honey flavour but not much else shows up. For a brief moment there is a hit of toast and nuts, but really it’s all honey here.
I’ve never really cared much for honey beers.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Radek Kliber (5308) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - FEB 28, 2007
Bottle 341ml bought at The Beer Store
Pours clear golden with copper accents, smallish fizzy head (lasted only 10-15 seconds).2-
Initial aroma was plain sweetness, sweet honey with white sugar, followed by light flowery hints.
Short thin body fulfilled by honey soft textures. Fine soft carbonation. Fairly, smooth clean honey accents. I actually got impression of true honey which is positive surprise to find at discount local brand. Fairly light beer, nothing overly complex. Plain and simple but fairly well putt together. Honey beers can be done much worse. It seems that Brick can brew beer that is cheaper than of the Big Ones with out sacrificing its brews quality. It’s not top of tops but should not be ashamed of it self either.

Bottle (341ml). Amber, flat, fast-diminishing white head. Smells of rice booze, sugar and fake honey - not nice, I was shooing hummingbirds away from twisting off the cap. Tastes like sugar and wet clay - at least there’s no aftertaste - while it’s cold - but pretty yuck. Flat, cardboardy sweet thin mouthfeel - it’s a crap macro honey lager for idiots who hate beer but insist they like it.
0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 MrManning (1945) - London, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 28, 2006
Bottle- Pale yellow (straw) with loud and diminishing white head. Grainy adjunct aroma with stale hops and cardboard. Sweet and stale, sticky and cloying. Not refreshing, and a chore to drink. Oh my.....
0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 Cartoonkhaki (1177) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 22, 2006
This beer is vial and filthy... The aroma of adjuncts is enough to kill a cow. I couldn’t even give this stuff away. Best off drinking it with a straw and cover the bottle neck while sucking.
White head, that doesn’t last... horrible adjunct aroma. Sweet sickening palate.
A very very ill making beer.
