0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 1/20 Sammy (7031) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 21, 2006
Definately the worst of the Laker series. Some malt to start, fizzy carbonation, and then airline fuel and dry finish. Tin metallic aftertaste. Old stale Beer smell
1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 jercraigs (6477) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 1, 2004
Bottle. LCBO Singles bin. Pale yellow with a smallish white head. Aroma spews from the glass with a sweetly foul tang reminiscent of spontaneous garbage can fermentation. Tastes 100% better than it smells, managing to be merely sweetly bland and boring rather than offensive. Thin body. Brick makes some beers that i quite like, this is not one of them.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Radek Kliber (5906) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - NOV 29, 2002
Below par aroma, a bit dusty in style with weak sweet scent. Very poor appearance, almost no head, whatever was there disappeared in 15 seconds. Golden light. Some bitterness of unknown origin. Unfriendly aftertaste. Beer masters of Brick go back to work.
0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 HogTownHarry (5632) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - OCT 2, 2005
Bottle (341ml). Poured hazy yellow-gold with a decent-sized fizzy-foamy fairly lasting white head. Aroma chemicals, sour corn mash, solvents, a bit of wet newsprint. Taste is just plain nasty - sour metallic vegetal harshness versus processed sugar sweetness and I swear rubbing alcohol to boot. Palate was fizzy, clangy, watery harshness. Avoid this one - I’m pouring it off after three sips (the last two were difficult, but I’m trying to be fair).
0.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 DuffMan (5189) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 18, 2007
Pheeew, this was a rank beer! No, it isn’t off or spoiled. It’s just bad. I’ve had a lot of macro-style pale lagers lately and I tend to cut them more slack than most raters, but this one stinks. Watery and featureless aside from a stinky aroma and a corny, harsh flavour profile.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 mabel (5043) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 31, 2007
UPDATED: AUG 14, 2008 [786-20071028] 473mL. Corn based creamy oil product and wet Shreddies aroma. Clear, orange brown body with a long-lasting foamy white head. Grains and yeast flavour has a bit of a malt aftertaste. Light-medium body. Not horrible but gets worse with more sips. (4/3/2/2/6) 1.7
[1570B-20080803] 473mL can. Boozy wet grains aroma is skunky. Clear, yellow orange body with quick foamy white bubbles. Wet grains flavour. Light body. Smells worse than it tastes, this time. (2/2/4/2/6) 1.6
Overheard: "The Laker Ice... Extra Not Good."
1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 CapFlu (4010) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 6, 2003
(Bottle) Pours a thin white head and a gold body. Sweet aroma with hints of something not worth taking the time to identify. Poor 'cheap' taste. Is it too much to ask Laker and Lakeport to merge to become one big shitty microbrewery?
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 jgb9348 (3963) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - DEC 7, 2003
Golden colour with a super thin white head. Aroma of light hops, metal and malt. Light-bodied; Sweet malty taste-same as any other lager. Nothing special with this one. Overall, not worth trying! I had this bottle at the Winter Party at Oakes' place in Toronto, Canada on 05-December-2003.

473ml can pours a pale straw color with a 2 finger white head that settles almost as quickly as its poured. Aroma is grainy malts and grassy hops. Taste is more of the same. Typical macro brew.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Nekronos (3184) - Xalapa, MEXICO - DEC 24, 2012
NOthing much to say just a regular lager need to be extra cooled and nice foam and bubbles also.
